Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 2-May-2001

Ian continues to care for Arianna at home. The chief is still staying at Ian's. Lucy comes over to give Ian information on Hospice and meets the chief. They instantly bond, and the chief tells Lucy he felt that there was the presence of a kindred spirit on the other side of the door when she approached the loft. Lucy spends several minutes trying to convince Ian that he needs to reconcile with Eve. She told him that since Ian and Eve have shared several past lives, that they are meant to be together and nothing should stop them. Ian says he is doing what he needs to do right now.

A pregnant Eve goes to an out of the way doctor using a fake name to get a check up and make sure everything is ok with the baby. She is, understandably, nervous since she has already lost one child. Chris accompanies her. He pretends he is the father (and her husband). Eve feel odd about having to fake a name, as if her baby is a crime. Chris tells her there is other "options", but Eve refuses, saying this child is a product of her and Ian's love and therefore most precious.

A freaked out Frank breaks into Rhonda's house, finding her drunk and passed out on the couch. He urges her to tell him where the computer is, and when she refuses, he finds it in her father's basement. He breaks down the wall covering the entrance to the basement, finding the computer and all things circa 1973. He suddenly realizes that by talking "Cookie" out of going to the dance, he has reversed the future and thereby eliminated the night Karen was conceived. No Karen. In the meantime, Rhonda calls Joe at the hospital, telling him she is going to call the cops on Frank, as he is scaring her. Kevin and Frank go to Rhonda's and find Frank talking nonsense about a girl named Karen Wexler. Frank finally convinces Kevin that he needs help to reverse the time and find Karen again. Kevin agrees to try and help him, although he is visibly cautious about the craziness that has brought Frank to this point. Frank reluctantly leaves Rhonda's vowing that "I'll be back" (where have we heard THAT before???)

On the next Port Charles...Allison tells Nana she knows the $25,000 came from her (Nana tells her, "No, it really didnt!"), Frank convinces Kevin to try and help him with his dilemma, and Eve tells Ian that there is "something she has to tell him!".
