In the woods, Eve watches a man chopping wood. When he notices her watching, she is embarrased. The man introduces himself as Michael. He senses that she is lost and offers to help her find her way. She tells him she is staying at a cabin. He says the only cabin around is the Johnson cabin. He wants to bring her back there, but she says she can find her way alone. He gives Eve directions. She acts tough and independent but Michael sees right through her. As she tries to make her way toward the cabin, it gets darker and Eve becomes more scared. She finally makes it to the cabin. It is completely dark and Michael is waiting on the porch for her.
In her hospital room, Rhonda asks Kevin about his sketch. He tells her that it is a sketch of Karen as described by Frank. Kevin is dumbstruck at how much Karen's sketch looks like Rhonda's sister, Caroline. Rhonda tells Kevin that Caroline died in 1973. She becomes quite agitated. Kevin goes into the hall to call Gail and ask her to see Rhonda. Lucy comes along and tells Kevin that he looks like he saw a ghost. Kevin thinks he may have. Lucy runs through all the possibilities of how Frank could have described Karen as looking just like Rhonda's sister. Reincarnation? Parallel universes? Maybe he remembered Caroline? Kevin knows one thing for sure: the Wexlers did have a computer. He tells Lucy how Rhonda becomes upset when she tries to avoid talking about it. Lucy wants to find out more about the situation. Lucy and Kevin go to a room and look through boxes and files of medical records. They can't figure out the filing system. Lucy gets giddy over finding that Tracy Quartermaine came in to inquire about a boob job in 1978. Throughout the whole scene, Lucy and Kevin do their usually flirting. Kevin finally finds a file on Caroline. Her death certificate says she was hit by a car in March of 1973.
At Kelly's, in 1973, Caroline tells friends that she is meeting Cookie there. Frank comes in and stares at Caroline. She asks if she knows him. He says he hopes she can help him. He says his name is Frank Scully. He wants to talk to her sister, Rhonda. Caroline wants to know how he knows Cookie's real name. He tries to cover but Caroline remains suspicious and walks away. Frank persists, telling Caroline that he needs to talk to Cookie. She wants to know why, but he says he can't tell her. There's a phone call from Cookie. Frank listens to Caroline talking to her. Cookie cancels their date. Caroline tells her that she'll be with her friends at the movies at First and Washington. That address sparks a memory for Frank. He goes running after Caroline. We see the street sign for First and Washington and we see Caroline starting to cross the street. A car comes speeding at her as Frank arrives and screams Caroline's name.
