Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 16-May-2001

Livvie tells Jack she is still feeling guilty for accidentally taping over Jamals tape of Zack's confession (boy, these soap characters sure carry alot of guilt!) Jack and Jamal tell her they know it was just an accident. Making a lame excuse, Livvie leaves the shop and goes to see Zack. She tells Zack that if he lets Jamal out of the race, she will make it worth his while. She tells him she has money, however, she can only withdraw a little at a time. But over time, he will make more than he would have if Jamal was in the race. He tells her that what he wants is....her. "Leather Biker-Chick" overhears this, gets upset and leaves, heading to the shop to see Jack. She tells him that Livvie is trying to help Jamal by paying a visit to Zack. Jack races out of the shop to go rescue Livvie. Livvie gets frustrated over Zack's rejection of her offer and tries to leave, but the guys in the bar stop her, telling her they are having a party and she is the guest of honor!

Kevin and Lucy sneak into Frank and Joe's home to look for clues on Frank's "1973 experience". They run into Mary, who is wondering where and how Frank is. They bluff by telling Mary they are there to help Frank. Kevin asks Mary if she knew Rhonda Wexler and Carolyn. Mary said she knew them, but not that well. Kevin and Lucy's first theory about time travel is hard for Kevin to accept, so he comes up with another theory...that Frank may have seen Carolyn's accident and thereby was traumatized, attaching Carolyn's likeness to the face he described to Kevin. But this theory is shot down when Mary said they were not around when Carolyn was killed in the accident. Kevin and Lucy then go to the basement of Rhonda's house, and see the old room with the computer. Lucy plugs in the computer, and it fires right up. As they are trying to get the computer working and Kevin's sceptical side is trying to take over, Lucy notices a 1973 yearbook of Rhonda's. She has drawn a heart around a picture of her and Scott Baldwin in the yearbook.
Kevin tells Lucy that just because there is a heart drawn around Rhonda and Scott's picture, doesn't mean they had a child (aka Karen). No matter how hard Lucy tries, Kevin has a hard time believing the incredible story of Frank's time travel.

Meanwhile, "time traveler" Frank dreams of being reunited with Karen, and is reminded of his desperation to correct the "Cookie Computer" situation and get Karen back. Rhonda visits Frank in the park (circa 1973) and tells him how much she misses Carolyn. Frank gives Rhonda (Cookie) the heart locket from around Carolyn's neck, which he found after the accident. He tells her it will give her comfort. Rhonda sees Frank has been sleeping in the park all night and asks him if he wants to stay at her house, until he finds this Karen person. Frank gladly accepts. Rhonda tells Frank that she feels guilty about the accident, because she should have been with Carolyn. Instead, she was hanging out at the school waiting for a guy she likes (aka Scott). Frank tells her it's not her fault, and then goes into the room he thought held the computer, and it's not there. As Frank is freaking out about the computer's whereabouts, Rhonda's dad walks in.

On the next Port Charles.... the handsome neighbor Michael pays a visit to Eve, Rhonda's dad is angry with Rhonda for her responsibility in Carolyn's death, and Livvie is caught in a difficult and threatening situation.
