Port Charles Update for Thursday, 17-May-2001

After a cold and eerie night at the cabin (sounds like a ghost story!) Eve calls Chris, tells him about her night, and that she is heading home. She packs her bags and goes to head out the door, and runs into her handsome "neighbor" Michael. He has dropped by to bring her a welcome wagon basket (pretty funny-he's offering an apple from the basket to "EVE"-a little bible-ish!). She is touched by his gesture and invites him in to "partake" of the bounty.

Ian runs into Chris at the Recovery Room. Chris is admiring the engagement ring he has bought to give to Eve, and Ian asks him if the "woman of his dreams" has lost her mind! Then Chris tells him that it's rare to find that special person, and you should not let them go. Touche' Ian. After some great memories of Eve, Ian leaves the recovery room in deep thought.

Frank has gone downstairs in Cookie's (Rhonda's) basement and flips out when he can't find the computer, and Rhonda doesn't know what he is even talking about. Rhonda's dad catches them down there and yells at Frank for being involved with his young daughter, and again tells Rhonda it's all her fault Carolyn is dead. Frank's attempts to protect her only provoke Rhonda's dad, and Mary eventually comes in (said the door was open) and says she has some dinner for them. She takes Frank back to her home (familiar territory for Frank) and talks to him about Karen. She is shocked when she asks Frank if he wants some ice tea, and he says yes and heads for the cupboard with the glasses in it. He covers up, but still feels very wierd about being in 1973.
Meanwhile at Rhonda's, her dad rolls a computer into the family room and tells her he has been building it, and only Carolyn knew. Cookie is stunned, and wonders how Frank found out. Her dad leaves her with the toy, which hopefully will set Frank's plan to go "back to the future" in motion.

Livvie has gone into the bar to see Zack and make him a monetary offer to leave Jamal alone and out of the race. Jack got wind of this from Sam and raced to the bar to keep her safe. One he got her out of there (after a scary moment for Livvie) he told her he couldn't imagine if anything had happened to her, and she confessed she was scared at what could have happened had he not shown up.

On the next Port Charles...Scott (where HAS he been-General Hospital?) is plummeted with questions about Rhonda Wexler, by Lucy and Kevin.
