Karen is wheeled into Arianna’s room and Ari explains to Karen that she is now a part of her, and thanks her (repeatedly) for saving her life. At the Recovery Room, Lucy’s focus is on that Stranger card, which she puts up when a very unenthusiastic Serena and our Victor (and might I add it’s about darn time we spotted him again) discuss the lunch they packed for Lucy and Serena’s excursion into the woods. Serena just isn’t very interested in getting her Lady Bug Troop badge; in fact she just as soon go to the mall. Badges after all are for babies. Victor informs Serena that the woods are in fact mysterious and strange, he’s heard stories. Speaking of the woods, Ian has reached the cabin, he just knows that Eve has to be in their special place. He knocks, opens the unlocked door, and yells hello a lot. Eve is in another special place, wearing a rather prim and proper dress by the way, looking for Michael. She’s in the chapel with all the little candles but suddenly she feels cold and in the need of electricity, in other words Eve is seriously freaked.
Victor stops Lucy from sampling the food and warns Serena to be on the lookout for Sasquatch (aka Big Foot – maybe we should get Mikey – I mean Priest Michael to take off his shoes, just in case...). Serena with all her worldly ways snorts that there is no such thing, Victor wonders if she’s gonna tell Big Foot that when he arrives to sample some chicken. Gabby congratulates Serena, for which Lucy thanks her, for being about to become a Royal Butterfly (I guess in more ways than one.) Gabriella does warn them that those woods have always made her nervous, but it’s probably nothing. Lucy is beginning to think a little trip to the park would be better, but Serena and she agree to go on their Mother/Daughter excursion into the woods. Back at the hospital, Karen apologizes to Arianna for taking so long to make up her mind (I just wasn’t myself for a few weeks there) and gives Eve the credit for helping her make the right choice. Ari explains that Ian is on his way to find Eve.
Ian has not found Eve, but he knows that she’s been in the cabin, he can feel it even without the benefit of Morca. Worried about Eve, Ian leaves the cabin. Eve is worried about herself and her situation and would really like to find Michael now, but all she finds is a locked door. Again we are in the hospital where Karen knows that Arianna had been hoping for a happy ever after with Ian, but Ari says she would have to be blind or a fool not to realize that Eve and Ian belong together. Once again Arianna thanks Karen and Karen leaves. Gabby enters, she talked to Victor and she wants Arianna to be sure this is what she wants. Arianna is sure this is what she needs. (I need to see more of Victor, so I hope this little discussion means he’ll be on all of twice- gasp – this week.)
Eve tells herself that nothing bad has ever happened in church and not to think about spooky movies. She again talks to the baby all about their new life and what a great Mommy she will be and what a shame it is about Daddy and so on and then there is a noise. In the woods, Serena is just not happy with Lucy’s attempts to be helpful and Lucy comes to the realization that gee, Serena is trying to tell her something. Serena sure is, she’s not a baby anymore. Heck, she’s almost a teenager. And Serena would really appreciate it if the name “pumpkinhead” was retired (and really who could blame her?). Lucy tickles Serena and then agrees that if Serena promises not to grow up too fast; she’ll try and remember Serena’s unbaby status. Serena is ready to tackle her badge list, first up – building a fire without matches. Lucy’s unsure but Serena knows how and goes off in search of wood – until a noise stops her cold.
Lucy attacks the noise maker with her handy dandy purse, until Ian orders her to stop. Well actually she keeps hitting Ian with the purse until Ian takes it away from her and dumps her Stranger Tarot card on the ground. Lucy warns Ian that the card means danger – for him or for someone else. Ian feels something is wrong and convinces Lucy and Serena to pack it in. He’s worried once more about Eve. The noises at the chapel turn out to be Michael who quickly covers when Eve asks about the locked room. He has brought her a present – a hand carved cradle, perfect for traveling and for keeping babies safe. Michael in his own mysterious way, warns Eve that there is much evil out there. So – something wicked this way comes –or is it already here?
Until next time,
Tammy
