Karen enters Frank's garage and finds Nellie. Running her fingers over the keyboard, she has flashbacks. First, she remembers Frank's story of the prince who travelled back in time. Then, she remembers Rhonda telling her about the past. Lastly, she remembers how Frank greeted her recently, like he was so relieved to see her. Mary comes in and Karen pumps her for information about Rhonda when she was a teenager. She tells Mary about the stranger that Rhonda said helped her get over her grief over Caroline's death. He was handsome and about 30? Mary remembers someone like that. Karen remembers that Rhonda said he was looking for someone he lost. After Mary leaves, Karen thinks out loud that it couldn't be. Frank's story was true? Sitting at the keyboard, Karen catches her sweater on the computer. She remembers it was just like at the auction. She thinks it is no coincidence. She says that maybe there is some kind of magic here.
Jack and Livvie come to the bike race, looking for Jamal. Zach, Sam and two brutes ask them if Jamal is around. Zach is less than pleased to find out Jamal is not there. When she's alone, Livvie calls both Alison's and Jamal's cell phones but gets their voice mails. Jack comes back and they see Alison's and Jamal's cell phones were left behind. Zach returns. He and Jack have a heated conversation. Sam tell Zach that he will have to be the one to race. Zach says he doesn't want to take the chance of being caught crossing the border with a fortune in hot diamonds. He tells Jack to suit up. He's going to replace Jamal in the race. Jack, of course, says no. When Zach grabs and holds Livvie in a threatening positon, Jack agrees to race. Jack and Livvie kiss. As Jack leaves, Livvie tries to stop him, but is stopped by Zach's goons. We see the race taking place. Zach and his guys cause Jack to run off the course and then put the diamonds on his bike. Jack wants to quit but Zach threatens Livvie's life.
Michael brings Eve some information about a clinic in Appalachia. She likes what she reads and decides it's for her. Outside, Ian has found the monastery. Eve starts to write a letter to Ian. Ian is in the chapel. Michael comes in and says he can help him. He says he's a good listener, if nothing else. Eve finishes her letter and decides to wait to mail it at the airport. Michael leaves Ian alone while he gets him a glass of water. Eve is all packed. Michael asks her to have one last lunch with him before she leaves. She accepts. He goes back to Ian and invites him to stay for lunch.
Jamal is mad at Alison for throwing his keys on the hillside. She tells him that she left their cell phones behind also. He wants to know how she could do this to him. Alison says she did it *for* him. Jamal says he doesn't need the keys. He'll hotwire the bike. Alison feels that she has been screwing up ever since she got the money. She knows that he is mad at her, but does he still love her? Jamal takes her face in his hands and looks tenderly into her eyes.
