Port Charles Update for Friday, 8-Jun-2001

Allison and Jamal are in the bike shop, and Allison is feeling tremendous guilt. None of this would have happened if she hadn’t thrown away Jamal’s bike keys. Like the devoted boyfriend that he is, Jamal places the blame squarely on Zach’s head and promises he will pay. Allison feels awful for Livvie and informs Jamal she asked Kevin and Lucy to come see Livvie. Ally is afraid of what Livvie might do. The lady in question is still in Jack’s room and telling Kevin and Lucy that now just isn’t a good time. Livvie is late for an appointment, but Kevin and Lucy need to tell her that they know all about Jack. Livvie is stunned. Eve and Ian are driving merrily along, well Ian is driving Eve is just merry and they are both excited about starting their new life and how gosh darn wonderful it is that dreams do come true. Ian is so happy he honks his horn. How wonderful it is to have no worries and how foolish it is to say something like that aloud – Ian really should know better by now.

At the chapel, Michael kneels and prays that everyone will be safe from his brother. Don’t let him harm anyone. Livvie wants to know if Allison told Kevin and Lucy about Jack, sure she did all about how Jack left town. Kevin wants to be there for his daughter, he loves Livvie. Safe in her Dad’s arms, Livvie sobs to Kevin that it hurts and that she misses Jack so much. However her mood changes quickly as she remembers she needs to be someplace and Livvie practically runs out the door. Lucy has picked up on the fact that something just isn’t right. Kevin is really angry with Jack. Really, really angry. Lucy wonders if Livvie was so hurt by Jack, why is she then wearing his sweater. Lucy is sure there is something else going on, that something “worse” happened to Jack. Isn’t it neat that Kevy fell for such a smart girl?

Livvie calls the bar but Zach has left and Livvie vows that she will both find Zach and kill him (Zach really should take a peek at Livvie’s family tree – and then run for the hills). Ian just isn’t into diapers and midnight feedings, he just wants to do Daddy things and he doesn’t care if the baby is a boy or a girl. Or twins suggests Eve which gets her thinking about Michael and Caleb again (which is funny cause I always think of Ryan/Kevin when I think of twins.) Eve comments that she thinks Caleb is pure evil. Said pure evil is now walking along his merry way, maybe later we’ll find out where he’s going. Allison is seriously freaked when Jamal takes too long to bring home the fast food, she is afraid for Jamal. Allison now knows that anything can happen and she feels awful for being happy that the anything didn’t happen to Jamal but to Jack instead. Jamal plans to use wheelchair bound Billy to bring Zach down. Allison begins crying when she spots Livvie’s Jack-blood stained shirt.

Kevin doesn’t really want to hear what Lucy is trying to tell him, he thinks the story is as simple as boy dumps girl (like anything is ever that simple) and calls Jack a good liar and a typical Ramsey. Lucy still thinks Livvie’s tale doesn’t make sense and tells a tale of her own – well Livvie’s own – she explains to Kevin what happened to Jack in the woods. She really believes Jack didn’t leave of his own free will and wishes she had something to prove to Kevin that she is right. Kevin looks beyond Lucy at something and tells Lucy that he thinks she got her wish. Livvie has found her way to the water and her and Jack’s special place. She can’t imagine life without Jack and loves him very much and promises him Zach will pay. Livvie feels close to Jack there, so close that she has flashbacks of him. Eve and Ian are happy to be almost home but Eve can’t stop thinking about Michael. Someone more stubborn than Ian, that would be Granya, explained to him that no one can save anyone by himself. Ian is very excited about the baby. There is a loud noise and Eve yells at Ian to watch out but when they get out to look they find nothing. Ian thinks maybe they scared it, whatever it was, off. They get back into the car, Caleb appears.

The object of Kevin’s interest is Jack’s wallet, in fact lookie – all of Jack’s things are still in the room. Kevin finally agrees that something is off – but what? Allison scrubs Livvie’s shirt with a vengeance and lets out a loud moan/scream when she sees Jack’s blood on her hands. Kevin and Lucy are startled. Livvie is still at the water, writing Jack’s name in the sand. She hears something, but sees nothing and goes back to writing. Caleb watches her.
