Port Charles Update for Monday, 11-Jun-2001

At General Hospital, Chris has a discussion with the private investigator. He wants Denny to find his “missing” brother. Sam arrives at the hospital looking for information on Jack – she wants to make sure that he’s good and dead. She and Chris do some heavy duty flirting. When the truth comes out that she is looking for Jack Ramsey, Chris informs her that he’s Jack’s brother and demands some answers. Sam tries to flirt her way out of telling Chris the truth but he’s not buying that. He wants to know how she knows his brother Jack and why she’d think he might have been brought into the hospital. A medical matter interrupts Chris, and when he turns back to Sam just seconds later, she is gone.

As Livvie draws Jack’s name in the sand, Caleb is in the bushes watching. Livvie hears a noise, turns and sees Caleb. She asks who he is and what he wants but he just stares, then turns and leaves. Livvie is really spooked and takes off. Back at the bike shop, Kevin and Lucy decide that there is something fishy about Jack’s sudden disappearance. Alison gets hysterical over seeing Jack’s blood on her hands and lets out a scream. Kevin and Lucy run in. Jamal and Ali try, very badly, to cover (it would have been quite interesting if the ever observant Lucy had noticed Livvie’s bloodstained shirt in the sink). Kevin is really suspicious and demands the truth They’re still stuttering and stammering when Livvie comes in and feeds Kevin and Lucy yet another story, that they caught Jack stealing from the bike shop and that’s why he left so suddenly. Kevin is really quick to believe that Jack was doing something wrong, yet again, but this does not sit too well with Lucy and the teens find it very hard to hear Kevin’s nasty comments about Jack. Alison is particularly quick to defend Jack. Kevin encourages Livvie to come home with him and she accepts. While alone with her friends, they discuss how awful it is to have to soil Jack’s memory with these lies about him. Livvie tells Jamal and Ali about seeing Caleb on the beach, and that the spookiest thing was that he was looking at her as if he knew her. Back on the beach, Caleb finds the handkerchief that Livvie dropped, presses it to his face. He fantasizes about waltzing with Livvie, although we can’t see her face. Meanwhile we notice that he is wearing the same ring that Michael wears.

Back at Kevin’s, he and Lucy try to get Livvie settled. Kevin offers food, beverages, but surprisingly not the shower she could really need – he and Lucy still haven’t noticed how skanky Livvie looks. Livvie still has a chill, and Lucy feels it too. Meanwhile, Caleb is lurking outside the door. He watches Livvie and starts breathing heavy. He says to himself “I have a second chance Olivia and this time it’s going to be forever, I’m going to be patient.”

Tomorrow on Port Charles, Ian and Eve arrive home to find that Arianna has made her exit and Jamal has an angry confrontation with Zack.
