As Livvie calls Jack, and leaves a message on his answering machine, she has flashbacks of being in Caleb's arms. Alison and Jamal come to Livvie's and they discuss Jack and the trouble they all might have. Alison and Jamal say that Jack is not the same person and they don't want Livvie to be with him until they get some answers. Livvie agrees but says that she knows that Jack loves her. Jamal says that doesn't mean he wouldn't hurt her. Alison and Jamal leave and Livvie promises not to answer the door for anyone but them. After they leave, she says to herself "Jack wouldn't hurt me."
Lucy arrives at General Hospital and asks Karen how Jack is doing. Karen says that Jack had a blood transfusion and tells Lucy to go and see Jack and judge for herself. In his room, Jack is sitting up and acting perfectly normal again. Karen tells Lucy that there was no evidence of a bullet wound. Lucy says that there was a hole in his jacket. How could this be? When Lucy and Jack are alone, he tells her all he remembers. He remembers the motocross and Zach and his buddies surrounding him and attacking him. Then he remembers being with dead bodies, carnage all around him. He wants to be with Livvie. He needs her.
Eve and Ian enter the monastery, calling out for Michael. They hear a strange noise and find Michael's toolbox upset all over the floor. They go down the cellar stairs and find Michael on the floor. Michael tells them that Caleb got out. He is obsessed with a woman. Eve takes out her cell phone to call the police. When the police get there, Eve tells them about Caleb trashing the place. Since Eve and Ian did not witness the vandalism, and Michael refuses to press charges, the police leave. Michael doesn't want anyone to interfere. When Eve is alone with Ian, she convinces him to stay there with her and keep an eye on Michael.
At Alison's and Jamal's, Dara arrives because Jamal invited her over to talk about Alison's "screenplay." Alison wants to ask her about "death stuff." Can someone seem dead, buried and then turn out to be alive? Dara remembers someone who was in a diabetic coma and declared dead. She realizes that there's more to their questions than they're letting on. Jamal says that he'll tell the truth. Everything that they've been telling Dara actually happened. Dara says she can't waste her time with their zombie stories. She leaves, but warns them to be careful.
Sam tells Chris that everything she told him was the truth. Jack is freaking her out. She saw him overpower three guys twice his size. Chris still doesn't believe her. He goes to Jack's room to take some blood. Jack starts shaking and his whole face changes expression. As Chris, Karen and Lucy try to calm him down, he becomes enraged. He jumps out of bed, grabs his clothes and pushes Chris out of his way. Out in the hall, Chris and a security guard can't get Jack to come back. Jack rips the fire extinguisher off the wall and throws it. The whole area is filled with smoke as Lucy watches in horror. Sam watches and is not surprised.
Lucy enters Abe's padded room. She tells him that she is a friend. Abe says that his friends don't hit him over the head with a bedpan. Lucy wants him to answer her questions about what happened in the woods. Abe looks frightened.
Livvie answers her door, thinking it's Alison and Jamal, but it's Jack, with his wild-eyed look. As Livvie expresses concern for him, Jack hugs her and tells her that he's ok. He looks at himself in the mirror.
