Livvie asks Caleb how he made her mother appear. He says that he can do magical things. He takes her face in his hands and kisses her. He says that she is the magical one. He had closed off his heart until he saw her. He explains how he had loved someone once but he lost her the night before they were to marry. Livvie says that he is so gentle. She wishes that her family and friends could see that he is not dangerous. Caleb asks her to make a phone call telling them that she is ok.

Alison and Jamal go to Gabriela's apartment. Outside her door, they talk about hoping that Gabriela would know where Livvie is. Inside her apartment, Gabriela talks on the phone about adoption. When she hears someone at the door, she looks in the mirror to check her fangs. When she sees that Alison and Jamal are there, she is grumpy. She closes the door on them, saying she's still upset about her brother. Alison doesn't give up and keeps banging on the door. Gabriela comes back and tells them that she doesn't want to talk to them about Livvie or Jack or anyone else. Alison and Jamal tell Gabriela that they think her stalker may have Livvie. His name is Caleb. Gabriela plays dumb and tells them she's expecting a phone call. Alison won't leave, so Gabriela gets physical with her. When Jamal tries to stick up for Alison, Gabriela twists his arm and forces him out. The phone rings and Gabriela says that they must go. Alison calls her a nutcase. Out in the hall, Jamal tells Alison that he now is sure about Gabriela. From her death grip and the way she seemed to defend Caleb, he knows that she is a vampire. They decide to wait for Gabriela to lead them to Caleb. They can't understand how Gabriela could feed on Emilio, since he is family. Inside, Gabriela talks to someone about adoption papers on the phone. When she leaves, Alison and Jamal follow her.

In the lab where Chris was holding Jack, Kevin and Lucy plead with Jack to stop strangling Chris. They mention Livvie, but Jack continues to choke Chris. After much pleading from Lucy and Kevin, Jack lets go of Chris. Kevin asks Lucy why Jack was able to almost kill Chris if vampires are unable to kill their family. She says that vampires are unable to "feed" on their family members. That is different. Jack is amazed that they know about his vampire characteristics. Jack throws Chris into the cage and goes off with Kevin and Lucy to find Livvie. Outside the lab door, Jack says that he should go alone to find Caleb. Sometimes, Caleb finds Jack when he needs him. He explains that Caleb wants to "turn" him. While they are arguing, Kevin's cell phone keeps ringing, but even though Lucy asks him to answer it, Kevin continues to have words with Jack. Jack runs off. Kevin answers his phone and is surprised that it is Livvie. Inside, Chris calls 911 to tell them he's being held in a cage, but they dismiss it as a crank call. Livvie tells her father that she is safe and having a wonderful time. He wants to come and get her. Caleb takes the phone and says goodbye to Kevin.

Jack goes down to the river and calls out for Livvie. He says he's coming for her and she should be patient. She should believe in their love.

Livvie tells Caleb that she wasn't finished talking to her father. Caleb says that Kevin now knows she is safe and will tell all who are concerned. Caleb tells Livvie that he has a surprise for her and asks her to take his hand. Together, they walk off, hand in hand, slowly and dreamlike through the sheer curtains.
