Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 8-Aug-2001

Jack finally gets Livvie home safely, having rescued her from the arms of the evil Caleb! However, Livvie is...well...livid at Jack, claiming she knew what she was doing and that Caleb is her future. Jamal and Allison try to explain to her that Caleb is evil. Livvie tells them Caleb couldn't be evil, else why would he have brought her Rachel, alive and well. Jack tells Livvie that Caleb brainwashed her. Jack takes Livvie to see Rachel, who, of course, is still in a catatonic state. Livvie is upset and can't understand what has happened.

Jamal goes to see Gabby, to appeal to her sense of family , and let her know that he will still be there for her. Allison is afraid for him, but he insists on going. He takes her pictures of him growing up so that she can see what he was like. Gabby pretends to be unaffected by this, but after Jamal leaves, Gabby peruses the pictures.

Kevin and Lucy hitch a ride with a trucker to get back into town, after having sent Livvie on the plane with Jack to get her home. As they talk about Caleb's reactions, Lucy wonders why he never threatened or bit her. After Lucy touched him (in an effort to get him away from Livvie) he backed off like a curse had been thrown his way. Lucy wonders if it could be because they are related! (this get's wierder every day). Kevin and Lucy are dropped at a diner where they wait for a plane sent by Victor to pick them up. In their spare time, Kevin talks a young man into loaning them his laptop with internet connection, and they begin to look at geneology websites. As they are tracing Lucy's roots, she notices her great-great-great grandmother's name, and GUESS where she's from? TRANSYLVANIA!!!!! It looks like Lucy was right-she's a decedent!

Eve goes to Michael to appeal for his help with Caleb. She breaks down in tears, telling him she heard his prayer to God of how he had fallen in love with her, and if that were really true, he would get rid of Caleb. Eve tells Michael she can't live like this anymore, as her every moment is spent with horrid thoughts of Caleb. Michael admits he does have feelings for her, that he has fallen in love with her...and he admits ALL this just as Ian walks in the room (timing....guys!...timing!)

On the next Port Charles...Allison warns Jamal that Gabby will hurt him, Ian confronts Michael about his love for Eve, and Kevin tells Livvie how much Jack loves her.
