Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 14-Aug-2001

At General Hospital, Michael tells Ian and Eve that he wants to tell Kevin and Lucy that Livvie is safe from Caleb. They tell him that Kevin and Lucy are not around, but Livvie is safe at the lighthouse. Michael would like to speak to Livvie also. Ian and Eve says they'll go with Michael. As Ian and Michael stare each other down, Eve encourages them to stop this behavior.

In his lab, Chris wakes up Gabriela and then shoots her with a tranquilizer dart. He goes into the cage and gives her an injection. Alison and Jamal arrive and want to know what Chris has planned for Gabriela. He says he's isolating the foreign substance in her blood. Gabriela, who is lying on the floor, has a seizure. Jamal wants to go in and help his sister but Chris forbids it. While they argue, Alison gets the key and goes into the cage. Jamal tells her to get out of there. When Alison can't find a pulse on Gabriela, she and Jamal plead with Chris to hospitalize her before it's too late. Chris gives her another injection, as the three of them kneel around Gaby's body.

Livvie is perched on the railing on top of the lighthouse. Jack tries to approach her, but she tells him to get away. She needs Caleb. As she falls off, Jack does his best Superman impression and flies after her. Down on the ground, Livvie tells Jack that she wants to be just like him and have that kind of power. He tells her it is a living hell. He's constantly hungry for blood and flesh. Ian and Eve arrive with Michael. Livvie rushes to Michael and embraces him, thinking he is Caleb. Michael tells Livvie that Caleb will never come for her. Caleb is dead. Livvie refuses to believe this. She knows that Caleb will come for her. Eve asks her if Caleb talked about giving her a baby. After Livvie flashes back to Caleb promising her a family, Eve tells her that Caleb was going to take her and Ian's child. Livvie runs into the lighthouse, covers her ears, and collapses on the floor, sobbing.

In the Transylvanian cemetery, Kevin pulls Lucy out of the ditch. As they cling to each other, the camera angle is from behind the bushes, and we hear ominous music. Lucy shows Kevin the gravestone with Lucia Kovitch on it. Nearby is a headstone with a Latin phrase on it. They recognize it as the phrase on the medallion that Michael gave Eve. They decide to return in the daylight. When they return to their hotel room, Kevin checks his phone messages. He can't believe his ears. There is one from Eve saying that Caleb is dead. Kevin wants to rush home, but Lucy wants to stay and find out about her connection with Caleb's family. After Kevin leaves her alone, Lucy hears a noise out in the hall. When she checks, the hall is empty. When she closes the door, we see a large shadow on her door. After she bathes, Lucy notices something coming out of the air vent. She tries to open the windows, but can't. The door is also jammed shut. She picks up a heavy statue and then falls unconscious to the floor. As he gets off the elevator, Kevin is approached by a creepy-looking guy who says he has information about the Kovitches.
