Alison and Jamal talk about how everyone has somebody to help them get through all that had happened, except for Gaby. The subject turns sour when Alison tells Jamal that she still can't forgive Gaby for helping Caleb and not fighting his influence like Jack and Livvie did. They are surprised by a knock on the door. The visitor turns out to be Gaby who tells them that she needs to leave town for a while to come to terms with all she's been through. She doesn't argue when Alison tells her that she can't feel sorry for her. Jamal then offers to take Gaby to the retreat that she is planning to go on.

Livvie is stunned to find Caleb's ring on her pillow. She is horrified when she can't get Caleb's music out of her head. She quickly clears her head though and hides the ring in a drawer when she hears Jack coming. He realises that there is something wrong with her, and realises it's Caleb. She confides in him about the ring, but when she goes to show him, it is nowhere to be found! He tells her that it's her imagination working overtime from all the trauma they went through, and he assures her that everything will be okay. They then make love as a strong breeze rattles the leaves of a tree outside of the window. Livvie then freaks out when Jack changes the radio station to a romantic song.

Eve worries as Karen, Ian and the rest of the doctors try to make her newborn baby start breathing again. They rush him off to do some tests, and Eve later confides in Karen that the same thing happened with her first child which she lost, and she's worried that she's going to lose this baby too. Karen assures her that that's not going to happen. Alone, Eve asks God to save her baby. Meanwhile Ian has a private moment with his newborn son, telling him how much how much he loves him. He calls for Eve to come to be with him and their son. When she comes the two share a touching moment marvelling at their son and hoping that he'll be okay.
