Port Charles Update for Monday, 29-Oct-2001

Caleb is weaving a mess of secrets and lies (what else is new?)

Lucy AGAIN thinks she sees Christina in the very park where she disappeared. When she tries to tell Kevin, he tries to convince her that it's too coincidental and that Julie would never bring Christina back to Port Charles. Lucy is hurt and offended that Kevin doesn't believe her enough to help her find Christina.

Eve is shocked when she hears from the hotel bellman that Ian ordered plane tickets for himself and Daniel to get them out of the country. Ian attempts to convince Eve that he is being set up, but Eve isn't buying it, and finally resides herself to the idea that Ian is an evil, terrible, sick man who tried to kidnap "her" baby (what is this "her" stuff? What about OUR!). She picks up Daniel and leaves the hotel and straight for...where else? KEVINS! Kevin listens and tells her she's safe and he isn't going to let Ian near her or Daniel. Eve tells Kevin there is only one choice, she must divorce Ian in order to protect "her" son! (Is she LISTENING to herself?).

Ian runs into Lucy in the park as he is trying to find clues of who has set him up, and Lucy is trying to find clues about Christina. Lucy has Scott Baldwin and the whole police department hunting down Christina. Ian offers to help her, and feels that there may be more to his set-up and Lucy's sighting of Christina than just mere coincidence. But Lucy doesn't believe this is an evil "Caleb" force, she says it's real and it's Christina. Eve doesn't believe this is a Caleb thing (although Kevin has tried to entertain the idea).

Chris finally catches up with Karen and shares the blood results with her of her recent blood work. Karen says the levels are so off they are unbelievable, but Chris tells her to believe it because it's her and if he didn't know better he would think the results were not from a human. Chris quizzes Karen about her recent behavior (sexual, cravings for say...blood, etc). Karen tells Chris she hasn't been able to keep her hands off Frank, and in the process, makes the moves on Chris as well. Chris is amazed at the results. Karen is going to take a short vacation with Frank, but Chris secretly vows he is going to be the only one she is vacationing with.

On the next Port Charles... Allison gets closer to finding out whether baby Hope is really Jamal's, Karen propositions Frank, and Livvie catches Rafe having a "heavenly" conversation.
