Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 7-Nov-2001

Rafe and Lucy meet up and Lucy is shocked to find out that Rafe knows about her and Ian's kiss. She presses Rafe about what he is up to and what he knows, and in frustration Rafe says she is not supposed to know because those are the rules. The ever-curious Lucy isn't going to let Rafe get away that easily. Rafe convinces her to follow her heart, and with that Lucy trips down to the Recovery Room and finds Kevin with Eve.

Ian and Eve are told by the court-appointed counsel that their bickering is not going to get them anywhere with the court. They are both stunned to hear that the court has placed Danny with a foster parent while the proceedings take place. Eve is devastated and Ian resolves to get Danny back. At the recovery room, Ian leaves to answer a pager and Kevin and Mack arrive with Eve's baby and Kevin tells Eve and Ian that he has been appointed Danny's guardian until their is a court decision.

Allison had arranged for a DNA test based on the hair found in Hope's baby book. She receives the results and hasn't opened them yet when Rafe arrives on the scene and talks her out of knowing.

Jamal visits with Mrs. Hartman to try and convince her to allow Valerie contact with Hope again. Mrs. Hartman let Jamal know this is the way things are, and this is what she told his girlfriend. Jamal is surprised and races to find Allison.

Frank and Karen are finishing up their mini vacation when Frank finds cocaine in Karen's purse. Forced to tell Frank that Chris injected her with vampire blood, Frank doesn't believe her and tells her to pack her things; she needs help and they need to leave immediately. Karen is dissapointed that Frank is doubting her.

On the next Port Charles...Jamal makes a startling discovery about Hope, and Lucy and Ian
seek solace in each other.
