Welcome to the very special Thanksgiving episode of Port Charles – a town that turkeys come to live because they are perfectly safe there. Anyone else miss the Scanlon’s Thanksgiving – show me your talent – dinners?

Okay back to reality – if you could use that word to describe PC these days. Ian and Eve have arrived home where Ian goes dutifully to prepare the unThanksgiving (unless they celebrate Thanksgiving in Morocco) dinner and Eve flashes back to her conversation with Kevin about truth serum. Eve wants to trust Ian, she really does, so much so she is ready to shoot him up. Oh, the power of love.

Meanwhile Jack reads a book wearing a cool pair of glasses. He realizes that something evil is in town (great grasp of the obvious) and that the evil is Caleb. Hey better late than never. Speaking of which, it appears to be “never” for Kevin. Rafe comes over just as Kevin asked him to do and Kevin is way on the right track with the wind blowing and the Stranger card appearing and how he knows there is no rational explanation although he’s been searching for one (Rafe – man can we keep this guy – “how’s that going for you?”). And all is well, leading right up to Caleb’s door – I mean cave, when in walks Livvie who orders Rafe to not say a word.

Hey look it’s James – Caleb’s loyal and dead servant. Lucy realizes that if James is undeadly here then so must be Caleb. Back at the apartment, Ian serves dinner while Eve once again examines the needle in her apparently extremely empty purse. Ian proposes a toast – to new beginnings (and I say amen). Ian wants them back the way they were. Eve has doubts, but not Ian; in fact he is so doubt-free he wants to dance. Eve protests for half a second or so and then agrees.

And then we are back in the Lighthouse where an oh-so-overcome Livvie just can’t hear the dreaded word Caleb anymore. Livvie pours on the waterworks as Rafe all but rolls his eyes (it’s okay Rafe, I rolled mine for you). Kevin comes to a realization – just too bad its the wrong one. Livvie is right, Caleb is dead they have just been projecting their fears onto Caleb. Kevin promises his teary daughter that there will be no more talk of vampires and rushes to get her a glass of water. Rafe claps his hands, all ready to hand Livvie the best actress award. Livvie taunts Rafe that his hands are tied, that he is no threat to either her or Caleb. Rafe realizes Livvie really doesn’t care who gets hurt. Livvie orders Rafe to get the hell (shouldn’t that be heaven?) out of her way.

James is living – well not quite living – proof Caleb is back surmises Lucy. James informs Lucy he now possesses powers, but she is suitably unimpressed. She is, after all, the slayer. James points out that slayers die too. Lucy walks right through James – whoosh – and gleefully announces he is nothing but hot air. And then there is much air, well wind actually and lightning and Caleb hovering in a cape. Gee how – well I guess it was dramatic that they were shooting for. Me, I am just rolling my eyes again.

Back at the farm, I mean apartment Ian loves Eve and wants her back. He is willing to fight for them but Eve has to fight too. Jack is in his little room feeling pretty darn hopeless, but then he flashes back to Livvie reminding Jack that he never gives up on her and Jack announces to the empty room that he still loves Livvie. Rafe is telling Livvie that she and Caleb will not win. Rafe has never believed there was pure evil before but.....Livvie tried being good, it is way overrated (I know an uncle who would love to pay her a visit.) Rafe knows that Livvie really would hurt the people she loves but when he looks in her eyes he sees something else....and if you want to know what it’s too bad ‘cause Kevin walks in and Rafe leaves.

Caleb and Lucy discuss her vision of her death, Lucy is now her own producer and has written another ending. She pulls out her cross and bow and arrow and takes aim and is ready to send Caleb back to Hell but oh wait, there is James exercising some of his powers and floating the crossbow into his own arms. Kevin puts the ever-sleeping Danny back into his bassinet and tells Livvie how proud he is of her. Kevin leaves Livvie alone with Danny as he goes to work upstairs but not before he promises Livvie all her dreams will come true. Probably not the smartest promise he’s ever made.

Ian and Eve continue dancing, even after the music starts. The phone rings and as Ian chatters on to the caller, Eve flashes back (there should be a limit of one flashback per episode) to finding the picture of Lucy and Ian and for the kazillioneth time picks up the needle, but this time she holds on to it. She has to know the truth. Ian comes back to Eve, all ready to be hugged. Eve holds the needle behind her back, all ready to strike.

James flees with the crossbow, Caleb flies, and Lucy just plain runs into the woods. Rafe is in the woods, looking up and shouting “No.” Back in the room, Jack hears the music, realizes Caleb is back, and like the handyman he is creates a stake out of the leg of a chair. Lucy comes across James who throws the crossbow further into the woods and vanishes, leaving her alone with Caleb. Lucy’s vision of her death intermingles with “real” life as Lucy runs from Caleb. Lucy falls, and Caleb stands over her with teeth barred and – one more episode of Tempted is over.
