Port Charles Update for Friday, 7-Dec-2001

Livvie asks Jack how he could leave town without saying goodbye. As she tearfully listens, Jack tells her it's probably too late for them to patch things up. However, in the way only an angel can help, Rafe steps in and moves heaven and earth to try and reunite them by drawing them to a house that appears to be for rent and it seems they both envision what could be.

In another angelic move, Rafe works on Lucy and Kevin to try and get them talking again. Kevin wonders if Lucy secretly mailed out the wedding/christmas party invites because she wanted to get back together with him, and Lucy wonders the same. Kevin tells Lucy that he thinks the party will do everyone some good after what they have been through, as it's obvious they all need a little happiness and love in their life.

Frank asks Karen to tell him what is REALLY wrong with her and when she does, Frank is in shock. He assures her they will find a way to save her, but Karen has been with Chris for awhile now and isn't feeling much hope. Chris has a major breakthrough in the cure for the damaging effects of the vampire serum, but will Frank upset him enough that he intentionally witholds the cure to make Frank suffer?

In a strange and puzzling scene, Kevin is visited by someone he is surprised to see and tells this person that their visit will be just between them for now, as Lucy getting involved at this point will just seem more complicated. Who could this secret visitor be?

On the next Port Charles, Livvie and Jack dream of what could be their new first home and Kevin continues his conversation with the "visitor".
