Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 12-Dec-2001

Kevin goes shopping to pick out a gift for his "secret visitor", unaware that he will run into Lucy. He is trying desperately to keep Lucy from finding out about the mystery woman.

Chris continues to blackmail Frank with the antidote for Karen's condition. He pressures Frank to finally agree to back off his relationship with Karen in exchange for Karen's life. However, in a fit of frustration (that comes up alot when it comes to Chris!) Frank blurts out the truth about the deal and Karen is horrified. She asks Chris whether it is true. Normally Chris would lie, however, Rafe "angelically moves" him to tell the truth and he can not tell a lie. Chris spews forth the truth, and shocks himself in the process! Karen throws Chris out of her place and reconnects with Frank.

Rafe feels guilty for giving Allison the cold shoulder, but realizes he must in an effort to allow Allison and Jamal's relationship to grow. Rafe is aware he will soon have to move on and is unable to give Allison what she needs in a relationship.

Eve asks Ian if they can take Danny on his first sleigh ride. She is feeling confident that things are changing for the better and life is getting back to normal. However, Ian reminds Eve that there are still alot of unresolved issues and that he is having a hard time forgetting what has happened between them and can't believe she can forget he slept with Lucy.

On the next Port Charles...Ian and Eve come to an holiday understanding, and Kevin runs into Lucy while shopping for another woman.
