Port Charles Update for Friday, 28-Dec-2001

Jack and Livvie pick up Alison to bring her to the bus station. Alison forgets a gift for Hope. As she goes back inside, she falls on the ice and hits her head. Livvie calls 911 but Alison is just concerned about getting to Jamal. In the hospital, Karen tells Alison that she has to spend the night.

In her hotel room, Julie tells Chris, Lucy and Kevin that she'll be leaving soon and that Christina will be with her mother - Lucy. Julie asks Chris to leave her alone with Lucy and Kevin. She shows them a suitcase she has. It is filled with her favorite things that she wants them to show Christina. It includes love letters from Chris. Julie doesn't know how to say goodbye to Christina. How can she let her go? Julie and Lucy cry and hug. Out in the hall, Chris gets three passports and airline tickets from a man. He returns just in time to hear Julie telling Christina that she's going to be an angel soon and that Christina will be going to live with her other mommy. Christina asks if Julie can come and live with her too. Julie tells her daughter that she is the best little girl. She asks Lucy to protect their little girl. As Lucy is leaving, Julie hugs Kevin and thanks him for everything. When Chris and Julie are alone, Julie collapses into Chris' arms, sobbing "my baby, my baby". Julie tells Chris that she is glad he didn't pull a stunt. Chris says that there is nothing holding him in Port Charles now. He's going with her. She doesn't want Chris to watch her die. She wants him to remember her full of life and to find someone else to love. The nurse comes in and Julie leaves with her after telling Chris that he'll always be her Prince Charming.

Gabriela's brother, Ricky, doesn't want her to have the surgery to save Hope's life. Gabriela tries to make peace as Ricky and Jamal have heated words. Dr. Hartmann enters and leads Gabriela away to get ready. In her hospital room, Gabriela has to defend her wanting to help Hope. Ricky still thinks he's right. Dr. Hartmann and Jamal try to get him to leave. Outside, in the hall, Ricky tells Jamal that he's treating Gabriela like a spare part. They argue so loudly that Gabriela comes out to quiet them down. Ricky tells Jamal that if anything happens to Gabriela, he's a dead man. When Alison calls Jamal's cell phone, he blows her off.

Rafe enters Ed's office. He wants to go back to Port Charles. Alison and Jamal are having problems. Ed says that his work is done.

Lucy and Kevin are at the lighthouse with Christina. Lucy is ecstatic that Christina is back with her. Scott comes through the door and asks "when the hell was someone going to tell me my daughter was back in town?"
