Port Charles Update for Monday, 21-Jan-2002

Lucy confirms the results of Paige's skin test with Dr. Gordon. She voices her suspicions to Kevin, that Paige is not really who she says she is. Kevin defends Paige; he is certain that she is not an imposter. When Kevin finds out that Lucy has had Paige's skin tested without Paige's consent, he decides that she must be jealous of the time he is spending with Paige, painting her portrait. Lucy grows more suspicious, as she realizes that Paige and Amy arrived in Port Charles on the same day. Kevin tells Lucy that if she wants him to give up painting Paige's portrait, he's willing to do that, but she tells him she can deal. However, when she leaves the room, she calls Victor to tell him that she is worried about the possibility that Paige is conning Kevin in some way.

Eve finds out the truth about why Amy moved out of her and Ian's apartment. She tries to set Chris up on a date with their "alien" friend. He refuses, says it's too soon after Julie but Eve is quite insistent. Meanwhile, Ian receives a note from Amy telling him that she's sorry for over-reacting and still wants to be friends.

As the truth about Rafe's feelings for her sink in, Rafe comes up behind Alison and suspects she has been reading his journal. She denies this. As they both stammer and stare, each trying to cover their own feelings, she tells him that she does care for him … as a friend (this is getting so old!). She makes her exit and Rafe ditches his journal into the trash. At home with Jamal, Alison pulls away during a romantic moment. Jamal senses something is wrong, she makes an excuse about feeling sick … lovesick is more like it. As she remembers the words Rafe wrote, she suggests to Jamal that maybe they need to spend some time away from Port Charles in order to reconnect; Jamal agrees.

Amy and Paige don't believe that Casey has seen another of their kind but she is quite insistent. She is frantic worrying about what will happen to them if he discovers that they are there. She finally convinces Amy and Paige to come and see him for themselves. Meanwhile, sitting in the Recovery Room, Rafe gets an odd sensation as the 3 heavenly bodies approach. Amy gets the same odd sensation and realizes that Casey is telling the truth. Rafe looks all around as Paige peeks in at him. She realizes that he can feel them, too. Rafe wonders what is happening and goes searching for what, or who, he felt (I thought he had no powers this time around?!?!). Amy, Paige and Casey (who apparently are not full angels yet), believe that Rafe may be a guardian and perhaps he has come because of their mistakes. Casey and Amy become frantic, they don't want to go back yet!

Tomorrow, Livvie questions Kevin about Paige, Lucy shares her suspicions of other-worldly visitors with Rafe and the She-Angels continue to worry.
