Port Charles Update for Monday, 4-Feb-2002

Rafe walks in on Jamal and Allison fighting and Allison falls on the floor. Mistaking a physical alteration, Rafe puts a choke around Jamal and Allison begs him to stop. After Rafe lets go, Allison explains to Rafe that she fell. Rafe apologizes to Jamal, but Jamal tells Allison they are over, and it's obvious now that she has another hero. Allison dissolves in tears as Jamal leaves the apartment and tells Rafe to "make himself at home" (ouch!). Allison tells Rafe he needs to leave, but then receives a call from Livvie that her dad is in trouble and she and Rafe rush to the hospital to help.

Chris approaches Amy about the picture he found in his things of Amy in Philadelphia with him and others. Amy denies ever being in Philly and tells him that she doesnt need to go out with him, because he apparently has other things to do with his time. Later, Chris catches Amy taking the photo from his locker.

Livvie yells at Paige for not finding Kevin in the snow electrocuted sooner. She says Paige knew Kevin was walking her to her car and that she never knew he was gone a long time. She tells Paige that she needs to go back to where she came from, as life was great before she got there.

In the ER, Ian purposely puts Kevin in a coma to save his life, as he has cranial bleeding. He wants to prevent him from having a seizure. Eve, however, strongly opposed his actions and berates him for it. Ian explains to the family about his choice, and Lucy says that she trusts Ian and that all will be ok. Lucy tries to reassure Victor, Mary, Livvie and Jack that Kevin will be fine. She then talks to Kevin and tells him how much she loves him and all about her and Serena and Christina's weekend in New York. She tells him how much she needs him and that he needs to stay with his family.

On the next Port Charles, Chris confronts Amy, Kevin struggles to live and Allison prays for strength and renewal of her faith, while Rafe looks on.
