Port Charles Update for Thursday, 7-Feb-2002

Casey and Ricky think they have pulled off the ultimate jewel heist, until Amanda discovers in horror that the necklace is gone, and Ricky knows Jamal saw the whole thing happen. Of course, Amanda accuses Jamal and Jamal doesn't fight it. But Casey drops the necklace on the floor and then tells Amanda it must have fallen out of the case. Casey and Ricky will try again.

Rafe takes Jamal to an old barn and corners her into listening to why she should not move into the Barrington mansion. He tells her the wonders of life and why she should savor every minute, not let it get sucked up by the Barrington's. Allison tells Rafe that she is going back where she wont have to worry about or take care of anything. Rafe struggles to make her understand.

Amy calls Ian and tells him she needs to talk with him. They meet at the hospital cafeteria. As they are beginning to talk, they overhear Eve complaining about Ian's carelessness during Kevin's crisis and how she would reassign him if she wasn't so short-handed (ouch!) and Chris telling Eve that he planned to get "lucky" with Amy that night. As Ian and Amy step up to a startled Chris and Eve, shock is dished out! Amy tells Chris she is offended by his lack of respect. Amy chooses not to think Chris will blackmail her, but takes matters into her own hands and calls his bluff.

Jack convinces Amanda not to press charges against Jamal for what she thought happened with her jewelry. Jack is obviously worried about his friend, but Jamal tells him that Allison is not a part of his life or his concern anymore.
