Port Charles Update for Friday, 15-Feb-2002

Casey and Ricky make out in the stockroom. He offers to take her someplace nicer, but she's anxious to get on with the action, after making sure that he does have a condom (a dead girl whose demise was caused by smoking crack is worried about pregnancy and STD's???). As they're about to give in to their mutual desire, his beeper goes off. Casey tells him to ignore it, but it's about Gaby. She rushes off to the hospital with him.

As Paige reads to Christina, Kevin walk in with the news that Lucy had to pick up Serena and he'll be putting Christina to bed. She balks at this. To smooth things over, he offers to draw her picture. He notices how fascinated the little girl is with Paige's watch. Paige is reluctant to hand the watch over to Kevin for safekeeping. When Christina still insists that she does not want Kevin to tuck her in, Paige offers to do it. While she cuddles with Christina and tells her how right it feels to be with her. Meanwhile, Kevin gets a closer look at the watch. It pops open and Kevin realizes that it's the same watch that Victor found (and lost).

Eve takes over when Jamal brings Gaby into the hospital. She's in a lot of pain and Eve is worried due to the fact that Gaby only has one kidney. She's also running a fever. Ricky and Casey arrive and Ricky lashes out at Jamal, it's his fault that Gaby has only one kidney and it's his fault that she's hurt now. When Eve and Colleen take Gaby away for tests, Casey spies Ricky take a scalpel off a surgical tray. Casey looks nervous as Ricky approaches Jamal. She stops Ricky as he is about to go after Jamal; she tells him that she saw him take the scalpel.

Ian gets tangled in Amy's earring. When he tries to explain how he mistook her for Eve, she isn't convinced. Ian admits that Amy unnerves him somewhat and tells her that he suspects that she enjoys that. Amy is amused but insists she didn't plan on their meeting in the on-call room, nor did she plan on him walking in on her undressed nor did she plan on his wandering hands in the car. Amy says that she can control herself but that maybe they should just give into their mutual attraction for just one kiss. Then she hears Ed's voice, telling the angels that the fifth chair is for someone close to one of them and can't go through with the kiss, not that Ian was planning on going through with it either.

Next time, Ricky is still plotting revenge against Jamal and Paige suspects that Amy has known Ian before.
