Ed watches over Amy as she sleeps. He knows that one angel has dark motives and because of that one, somebody will die but he can’t determine which angel it is. He commands them all to wake, which they do, to a crash of thunder.

Paige and Christina share a tender goodbye, where they each present the other with a keepsake. When Paige leaves, Christina tells Kevin that she doesn’t feel well and collapses against his chest. He is unable to rouse her and calls Lucy to have her meet him at the hospital.

Flowers arrive for Eve at GH, with a note telling her to meet the sender in the on-call room. She’s quite surprised to find Amy waiting for her. Amy tries to apologize, admits her attraction to Ian and that Ian knows about it, but that he is not interested. Amy tells Eve she should be thankful that when a woman tried every trick in the book to lure her husband away, that he wasn’t responsive and she should stop pushing him away.
She tells Eve that she knows she will never have Ian, but that someone else might. Ian walks in on Eve telling Amy that Ian is no saint. When he talks with Eve alone, she lashes out at him for not being upfront about knowing Amy’s feelings for him and she suspects he relished his role of rescuer. He asks Eve if there’s a reason to keep fighting for their marriage but never gets an answer, as Eve receives an urgent page.

On the roof once again, Amy speaks to “Poppa” and how sorry she is for failing him (didn’t Ian talk to her father, don’t we know that he is alive?). She loves him, always thinks of him and always felt safe with him. She feels his arms around her now (and we see gloved hands on hers) but there’s no one behind her. Apparently in PC’s version of heaven, you don’t get to be with your loved ones who are also dead.

Alison shares mementos of her past, with Rafe. She tells him the story of her great, great, great grandmother, a very un-Barrington-like candle maker. She used to talk to her portrait and felt very close to her. She shares her disappointment of the lack of attention she received growing up.

Casey, listening to “Teen Angel,” considers asking Amy or Paige for advice on her situation with Ricky and realizes they’d be the wrong audience. She’s bummed about how much her 2nd chance at life sucks. She realizes who she should talk to.

Ali and Rafe are getting cozy on the couch. When he tries to start the gas fireplace, he realizes that the gas isn’t working. There’s a knock on the door and Alison opens it to find a very distraught Casey, who must talk to Rafe in private, RIGHT NOW. Rafe steps outside with her and Alison lies on the couch. Meanwhile, it becomes apparent that Rafe has left the gas on!

On Monday, Lucy realizes that Christina has lost her hearing and Rafe tries to rouse Alison.

Off topic – all you Grammy watchers, am I the only one who notices a resemblance between Jay Pickett and the lead singer from Train?
