Port Charles Update for Friday, 15-Mar-2002

Outside the Recovery Room, Amy hears Ian’s words and thinks he’s going to tell her he has left Eve for her. Meanwhile, Eve is stuck working a long shift at the hospital and can’t join them. Sitting with Ian, he holds her hand and she tells him she can tell that something has changed. His words continue to lead her toward the wrong conclusion and when he says he’s found his way back to Eve, her face falls. As he shares the details, including how they recalled their love defeating Harris, she shakes with anger. She tells Ian that she hates him. When he realizes that it seemed like he led her on, he is genuinely sorry. She flees in embarrassment, after telling him he should get what he deserves. The ghost of Harris watches her cry over being made a fool of and she vows that Ian will pay.

Alison and Rafe have a private ceremony in the stable, in a circle of stones that Rafe has set up, to symbolize the bond of their love, never beginning and never ending. They pledge to carry their love for one another forever. The heart containing the names of the angel children disappears.

Karen and Eve try to stabilize a very unappreciative Ricky. They give him medication to clear up the staph infection but when Karen insists he needs plastic surgery, he decides that he’s out of there … until he sees the horrifying reality of his own reflection.

Chris watches Jack working on the photo of Amy, which turns out to be from Parents Weekend at college. Chris is certain that the man behind Amy must be her father, and he certainly is Harris. Jack questions Chris about why he needs this photo. Later at the hospital, Chris runs into Eve. He tells her he knows what Amy has been hiding and tries to convince an uninterested Eve to look at the picture in the envelope.

Monday, Chris mentions a family resemblance to Amy and Lucy realizes she’ll be forever haunted if she can’t figure out the true quest of Paige’s journey (I’m betting she’s Alison’s birth mother).
