Port Charles Update for Monday, 29-Apr-2002

Today's show starts with a much distraut Frank looking for Kevin at the hospital. Of course before he can find Kevin, Frank is escorted away by the physch guys sent by Karen.

On to Rafe who has just been told by James that Ed is his father. Is this just another trick by James to get Rafe to sell his soul and be with Allison? Is Ed his father or isn't he? (Timing doesn't seem right, I thought Rafe had been dead for awhile and we know Ed died in 1972 but stranger things have happened).

Next we have Livvie looking mournful pouring out her troubles to her mom who is still in a coma. She is still trying to convince anyone who will listen that she poisoned the candle to save them all from Allison.

Back to Kevin who sees Rebecca come out of the painting and talk to him. Is he hallucinating? Just reused film from Friday and guess what, she lights the candle and he disappears again!

All this before opening credits...

Ali comes out of the back room to find Kevin gone just as Lucy comes in the shop. They start looking for him.

Ed comes in summoned by Rafe. They have the "are you my father" conversation and big surprise Ed is his dad.

Livvie is babbling on to her mother about being crazy (seems to be in the genes). Livvie realizes that everyone thinks she is crazy but she just has to stop Allison. She is more determined than ever.

Meanwhile back at the Pink Rose, Lucy and Allison are still trying to figure out where Kevin went. He was gone just like that. Lucy admits she was having one of her feelings and knew something was going to happen. (She needs to work on getting them a little sooner).

Frank finds himself strapped down with Karen there. She is trying to explain to him that she is scared and put him on a 72 hour psych hold to protect him from getting arrested. She still cares and needs to find out what is happening to him. Frank thinks it is a candle but Karen says no candle was found in the bar. Guess that would be because Ricky put it away before anyone saw it (including Frank). What Karen does Frank see now? She manages to enrage him again (even without the candle) and he sees her as a tramp sleeping with Ricky.

Rafe and Ed are into their father/son bonding now. Ed tells him about meeting his mother and falling madly in love with her. She of course got pregnant and they were thrilled. Sadly before Rafe was born (and before Ed made Rafe's mother an honest woman), Ed died. Ed tries to look out for Rafe but could never bring himself to tell Rafe he was his father. Ed understands how Rafe feels about Allison because Ed loved Rafe's mother that much.

Lucy and Allison are still trying to figure out where Kevin went (they don't seem to be looking very hard). Lucy gets the bright idea to call Mac who has the bright idea to call Kevin's cell. Big surprise when it is in his briefcase that he left behind when he disappeared. Since Lucy claims Keven never goes anywhere without either, now they get worried.

Frank is calmer now and trying to tell Karen that he is soooo sorry for everything. Karen can't seem to understand. Will these two ever get married?

Livvie is still rattling on to her zombie mother. She wants her to come back and solve all her problems (she always did have a plan up her sleeve). Rachael blinks her eyes and surprise, wakes up from her coma. Wow what a wish!

Rafe is now using all of his "your my father, you should let me do this" charms to get Ed to send him back to Allison. Ed says no (what a meany). Ed tells him to forget Allison and not to sell his soul. Rafe tells Ed to get out and let him get back to work, which he does still pouting.

Lucy and Ali are still clueless after finding Kevin's cell phone in his briefcase. But wait...Lucy finds a blood stained apron on the floor. This must be a clue but Allison is clueless.
