Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 14-May-2002

Today we find Karen and Frank accepting the truth of the candle. Karen knows that the candle is making others react out of character. Call it witchcraft or whatever she says. Karen says no hallucinogens or dangerous ingredients were found in the rest of the candles (aka the ones Livvie didn't tamper with).

Lucy picks up all the blocks, darling Christina has left all over the room, when Ian enters. He wants to know where she has been. Lucy confesses she bailed Ali out and tells about the portrait. Ian thinks she has gone mad or totally stupid (didn't he spend all of Tempted thinking the same of Eve when she too was right). Jack and Jamal enter the barn to see the destruction of the portrait. Allison appears from the corner she was crouching in. They tell her the photos they are developing with Rebecca in them are parralleling Ali's life. They think Rebecca killed the minister. Ali tells them the real story of how she helped the man.

Livvie has brought Rafe to Ian's knowing that he is spending time at Lucy's. No one will stumble upon her and Rafe there. Rafe is convinced that Livvie must be an earthly Angel (HA HA) to help him. He can not remember prior to 1991 (I think we now know when his year of death was. He wants to know "Whats next". She says "Go to bed" (Was that an excited twinkle I saw in his eyes at that thought).

Ian belittles Lucy and her faith in Kevin being alive. She hauls off and tell him he is doing this because "You don't want to believe that God singled you or Eve out", by doing this, she tells him, it will hurt less not to be the only one grieving. Apologizing immediatly she is stunned by her statement. Ian says it would break his heart if she didn't realize he would move Heaven and earth to get her Kevin back and if it were not for his son he couldn't make it out of bed at all.

Karen tells Frank she is not giving up on him. They can make it work now that they know the cause of his behavior and violent outbursts. What does he see now. He says he sees her-the woman he loves.

Not wanting to put Livvie out even more than he assumes he has, Rafe offers to find a place to stay for the night. Livvie says "What kind of Angel would I be if I did that?" He says the part about himm being a loner with no ties makes sense. He had hoped he had changed however in the years he forgot. After Rafe falls asleep. Livvie whispers "This is payback Allison for taking away my dad and Jack. Rafe you are going to be my own little secret." ( I am dissapointed in her that she didn't at least mention Lucy and give an excuse as to why he could not see her at this time.)

Jamal has had enough of Allison not seeing what is in front of her. A loving man who wants to protect her and not some some creep like Rafe who left her. (I think Ali could let him in on the secret of Rafe being an Angel now that the mission is over. After all, Jamal and Ricky witnessed Casey's Angelic nature so he would be able to believe it.) The group looked at the last picture developed. It shows Rebecca with a very alive Reverend. Jamal concludes if he was alive than Kevin is alive. They race back to develop more pics so they can get to the bottom of where Kevin is.

Lucy tells Ian she is begging the Universe to give her just one tiny clue as to where Kevin is. Ian believes it will happen for her. As he leaves, Lucy sees three more blocks on the floor.
As she leans down too pick them up she sees the blocks are laid in perfect order D-O-C. It seems she has her sign.
