Port Charles Update for Monday, 10-Jun-2002

Allison wanders outside the Recovery Room with the Pink Rose she found waiting for another glimpse of Rafe. kate tells her to get a grip she needs to be fighting for her life instead of fantasy land. Ian is more supportive and understanding. Ali feels selfish for talking about her own woes when the sting of Eve's death is still freash. Ian doesn't mind and gives her a kiss on the cheek I I thought it lasted a little longer than needed. Hmm chemistry not bad between those two???)

Karen asks Ricky if she is a bonafide groupie now that she has had sex with an up and coming rock star (OK. It's just one CD). In the afterglow Frank comes knocking on the door. She hides Ricky and reluctantly answers. Frank says the candle triggered the repressed memory of his father going off on his Mom after seeing her with another guy. Frank witnessed the whole thing as a kid and forgot it. Karen says thats great. Go deal with it, but, it doesn't make what he did any easier for her to handle what he did to her. He says he knows, but now he can work on it and the only way he will know if he is cured is if they light the candle together. She'll think about it. After Frank leaves, Ricky says no way are you going to do that without me there. She says your not giving me orders and he says when he cares about someone nobody is going to hurt them. They have to come through him first because he protects those he cares about.

Livvie spins a yarn about her and Rafe's last night together incorporating details Ali gave her and twisitng them to her story. She told him about how they talked of marriage and children and they were to be married immediatly, but Rafe wasn't buying. Somethings missing Livvie, he told her. By the end of their conversation though, he was willing to accept that maybe marriage would help his memory return.
