Port Charles Update for Friday, 14-Jun-2002

Kevin gives in to his attraction to Rebecca and kisses her. He feels guilty, but to her delight kisses her again, passionately. "What's going on between us?" he marvels.

Alison, Lucy, Ian, Jamal and Jack wait for Judge Cromley's decision on Rebecca at the Recovery Room. Lucy tells Ian about her plans for after Kevin returns. "What if the man who left isn't the same man who comes home?" Ian asks. Lucy's confidence in her Doc's return is unshakeable.

Livvie is unable to convince Rafe to elope. Instead, he arranges for a judge and witness to come to the barn, which he has filled with flowers. He explains to her that it wouldn't feel right getting married anywhere else. Livvie relents and the ceremony begins.

Kate arrives at the Recovery Room and announces that Judge Conelly has overturned Rebecca's decision. The group celebrates, confident that Kevin will be home momentarily and Alison will also be vindicated. Ian drives Lucy home as she rushes to be there for Kevin's return.

As Kevin and Rebecca embrace, a strange feeling comes over her. She is filled with wonder as she gradually realizes that her curse has been removed. She begins to fade away. Kevin panics when she tells him that the only way he can return home is to get someone to find the candle and light it. "You must believe!" she entreats him as she fades away and disappears. Kevin cries out in anguish when she is gone.

Alison, Jamal and Jack make a toast to friendship. Alison speculates what Livvie will do when she hears the news of Rebecca's vindication. Jack takes Livvie's necklace and throws it on the floor before he leaves with Jamal.

As Rafe begins to recite his wedding vows, the sound of his wedding vows to Alison echo in his head. He realizes that he's already married and stops the ceremony.

After taking a call from the DA, Kate breaks the news to Alison that Kevin's remains have been found.
