Jack surprises Alison with a special birthday pizza from the Pizza Shack, along with a bottle of champagne to help her celebrate her 21st birthday. Alison was surprised because she had completely forgotten about her own birthday since her mind has been on the current situation with Rafe and Livvie. Jack told Alison about his job offer to do some photography for a company and asked her if she would model for his portfolio. She finally agreed to do it, only because she and Jack promised to always stick by each other since they were friends, and also so she could get her mind off of Rafe. Alison and Jack made a toast to new adventures, and she declared that she was going to be a new and improved Alison Barrington.
Meanwhile, at the hospital... Ian checked out Livvie since she had passed out after eavesdropping on Ian and Rafe's conversation about the Avatar. Livvie kept mumbling that the baby is a monster. When she awoke, she told Ian and Rafe that she felt the baby move. Ian told her that it was impossible since she's only a few weeks pregnant, and that it was just her body going through changes. Livvie demanded that Rafe tell her everything he knows about the Avatar, but he refused to do so and took her home.
Kate and Ian had a chat about her visit to see her boyfriend. She grew defensive when Ian told her that they were friends and she could tell him the truth.
Livvie took a nap at home and had a terrible dream that she was holding her baby. When Rafe saw it he looked terrified and exclaimed "That thing is not mine! It's a monster!"
The Avatar strikes again! He left a bloody victim in the park. This time, the Avatar said "Shame".
