Port Charles: Thursday, 15 - August
Frank shows up at the prison, where Chris is being held, and gives him instructions. Chris is being signed out as a group of bad guys are being brought in from a bust at an ecstasy house that was blown up by ‘Lancelot’ the night before. But they say he first helped himself to a million dollars of their drug money!
At the hospital, Ian fills Kevin in on the Avatar’s actions the previous night. Kevin realizes that Danny and Alison were threatened to frighten Ian and Rafe, but that Livvie, Rafe’s wife, was not involved. Kevin visits Livvie and asks her to face the truth – that Rafe is clearly committed to Alison, not Livvie - and his fear is that she is too close to the people connected to the dark side and evil. He asks her to move home for awhile, but she refuses.
Ian visits Eve’s grave, and asks her for heavenly advice.
Jack surprises Alison as she remembers Rafe’s otherworldly actions at the cliff. Alison wants to make it clear to Jack that she prefers to keep him as her best friend. They agree to pretend their flirtation never happened. Alison fills Jack in on Rafe’s actions, and says she feels tortured by everything that’s happened recently with she and Rafe. She decides she wants to put Rafe behind her, and start anew. Lou tells Jack that Chris is up to something weird in the park. Ian, Jack and Alison find Chris in the park holding another press conference, and saying he’s been authorized by ‘Lancelot’ to give away a million dollars. Frank/The Avatar chuckles from the sidelines as he sees the crowd’s approval.
Rafe asks Lucy to meet him in the park and give him some answers about his past. He is concerned about how he saved Alison the previous night, and asks Lucy if he had some special powers in the previous life he can’t remember. She tells him about his past , and calls him her “guardian angel”, finally admitting that he was an angel, and that it seems he has come back from heaven to fulfill his destiny with Alison. Rafe refuses to believe that he was ever dead, or an angel, and tells Lucy he’s as alive as she is. Angrily, he leaves saying that everyone has a different story and agenda, and he’s sick of all of it. Maybe Livvie is right, he thinks, but in his confused memories he wonders if Alison is his destiny.
