Port Charles Update for Monday, 19-Aug-2002

Let's start with our favorite couple not to want together, Rafe and Livvie. Livvie was saved from Avatar and made up some excuse to Alison, Jack and Rafe that the Avatar was trying to take her baby and claim it for her own. Of course Rafe believed her and pretended as if he did not know Ali. We all know that this is because of the baby and not Livvie herself. Ali and Jack left and the "happy but delusional couple" went home and were blissfully happy as Livvie fed a few more nontruths to Rafe. Rafe decided to put the past behind him as he is "right where he wants to be"

Back at Jack's, Jack gets a call from the publisher that he got the job and low and behold they want him to fly for a photo shoot to Bermuda with non other than .... Ali. They are so happy he sneaks in a smooch which Ali blows off. A scene later Jack is already reminiscing about that kiss.

Jamal and Marissa are all smoochy in the park when Ricky comes running up asking for their help. He is looking for Karen who disappeared with Avatar. She is trying to sneak and peak at the "man" she is so in awe of but he won't let her. Ricky meanwhile is going nuts and Marissa slips into reporter mode, which kind of ticks him off.

Karen hears Ricky yelling for her and leaves "Frank" watching her go. Marissa is still doing the reporter thing when Jamal picks her up to take her away. Ricky and Karen embrace after his little tirade about what scum the Avatar is.
