Port Charles Update for Friday, 23-Aug-2002

Livvie asks Rafe to take her home, but he insists she stay with Victor. She rudely tells her grandfather she doesn’t want to stay and play games with him, and wants to leave, but he says wherever she goes, he’ll follow. When Victor is distracted, she makes her escape.

At the burger joint, Jack tells Jamal about the trip to Bermuda, but he doesn’t care; Marissa runs up and gives Jamal a big kiss. Jamal tells Jack he’ll always take second place with Alison. Jack says it’s not that kind of relationship, but then wonders if they could eventually be together. Jamal tells Marissa he’s completely over Alison.

Lucy tells Alison they have to be quiet, as Kevin is upstairs. Lucy insists they need answers from Ed, but Alison doesn’t think it will work or matter to the current status of Rafe and Livvie. Lucy convinces Alison that this may be her last chance to get Rafe back, and they begin the séance. When Lucy calls to Ed’s spirit to explain why Rafe’s come back without a memory, Alison is convinced that the séance will never work. Suddenly, the patio doors blow open! As Lucy tells Alison that Rafe would have sold his soul to come back to her, the radio abruptly comes on and begins playing “I’d give up forever to see you”. Lucy wonders if Rafe DID sell his soul to the devil!

Karen vows she will save ‘Lancelot’ from the trap Ian and Rafe have planned. When she leaves the hospital, Ian comments that the trap’s been set. At the park, Karen calls to ‘Lancelot’, as Ian lurks in the bushes, then jumps out to grab her from behind so that she’ll call for ‘HELP’ from ‘Lancelot’! When the Avatar/Lancelot appears, Rafe and Ian throw a net over it. As they try to see whom they have captured, Livvie peeks out from the side of a bush, saying “Oh God no!”.
