Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 24-Sep-2002

Jamal, Jack & Ricky are inside the cabin asking Marissa not to try the Pumpkin soup that Jack found earlier. Not listening, she tries the soup and pretends to choke. Laughing,"It's okay - it's just soup!", Marissa says to group.

Meanwhile, Frank meets up with Karen in the park. Karen protests to Frank that she can't be with him if he continues to be host to the Avatar. Frank asks Karen to trust his love and to let him "prove to her that he is the same man she fell in love with."

Ian gets ansy after not being able to find Rafe, and breaks into Rafe's apartment to search for his research on the Avatar.

Alison corners Livvie in the barn with the gun that killed Rafe. Livvie pleads for the life of Rafe's baby. Alison admits to Livvie that she knows the truth about the paternity test, the nurse whom she blackmailed, etc. "What I'd like to know, Livvie, is WHO is the REAL father of this baby!?" --Alison. Alison then destroys the gun.

Jack wakes up in the middle of the night and attempts to leave the cabin alone to go find 'whatever it is out there'. Jamal won't let his best-friend go investigate without him. As they leave the cabin, Marissa mysteriously sits up in bed with a strange look in her eyes.

Alison confronts Livvie about her inability to love anyone else but herself- not even her baby. Alison tells Livvie to leave. She then says a heartfelt "good-bye" to Rafe. "I'll never forget us.... I'll never forget you." --A teary Alison closes the door to the Barn.

Marissa rises out of bed, and approaches Ricky on the floor (who had conveniently been left behind).

Jack and Jamal see a werewolf!

Livvie walks into her apartment to find Ian standing there. Ian to Livvie: "What happened here? What happened to Rafe?"

Karen and Frank make love. As Frank falls asleep, Karen remembers her deal with Ian. "The only way to save the man that you fell in love with is to get that shrowd" As she leans over, whispering "I'm sorry, Frank", she grabs the shrowd. Just then, Frank awakens and grabs Karen's arm. "Shame", he says in the Avatar's voice.

Scenes from tomorrow's Torn:
** "Rafe left me!", cries Livvie to Ian. "I don't believe that.", Ian says, "Tell me what happened to him!"

** Jack and Jamal hear Marissa scream from inside the cabin.

** "You don't need the Avatar, Frank!" - Karen to Frank. The Avatar falls to the ground screaming, as if the shrowd his is wearing was burning him (or painful in some way).
