Port Charles Update for Friday, 11-Oct-2002

-> Jack/Tess
Jack is in the cave with Tess. He takes a picture of her and the bright light scares her. He cleans her face so he can take a "beautiful" picture of her. She cleans his face, too. He starts to teach her words (like arm, face, rock, etc). It looks as if he is falling in love with Tess.

-> Jamal/Ricky/Marissa
Jamal likes the song Ricky made for Marissa and thanks him. Jamal says that they're 'Even'. "What are you talking about?" Ricky says to Jamal. With that beautiful smile, Jamal says, "I sent your tape to that Stephen Clay band that you and Marissa like so much." Marissa has her own thank you for Ricky, too- she sets him up with this girl. She's a pre-med/theatre student. Ricky to Marissa: "Was this set-up for me -- or for you??" Jamal tells Marissa that he sent the CD, and that the band was listening to the song 'as we speak'.

A man sitting in a chair listens to Ricky's song. An assistant comes in and apologizes that some roadie snuck the CD in. She goes to turn the music off, and her hand gets grabbed by the man in the chair. He apparently likes the music.

-> Livvie
Livvie has this 'master plan'. (Doesn't she always?) She waits outside Alison's bathroom for her to come home and take a bath with the poisoned beads that Livvie has left for her. She watches Alison come in and pour her bath. Livvie keeps talking about how quickly the poison will seep into Alison's skin and absorb into her bloodstream, until it reaches her heart. "The heart that got Rafe back" she says with a snear. "And the best part is," Livvie snickers with evil delight as she looks in the window at innocent Alison, "the poison is completely undetectable!" Livvie then notices that she left her wedding band on the bathtub! Alison hears a window break somewhere in her apartment and goes to check it out.
Alison calls Rafe and asks him to hurry home. She tells him about the broken window.

Rafe/Woman

Rafe is excited about the ring he has bought for Alison. He is busy staring at it when he bumps into this woman. He helps her pick up her stuff and they start chatting about Alison. (You know Rafe, he just loves to talk about his true love!) He keeps going on and on about Alison to this woman, telling of how wonderful she is,etc., but never revealing Alison's name. She needs a ride to where Rafe will be taking Alison for dinner, so he offers to give her a ride. "Besides, you'll get to meet the woman I've been talking about." Rafe says to woman. "Oh, I would love that. She seems wonderful.", the woman says to Rafe.

-> Livvie
With Alison finally in the other room, Livvie sneaks into the bathroom to grab her wedding band. In the hurried process, she accidently pushes the ring into the poisoned water. "Oh no! What am I going to do now?" Livvie says to herself. She rolls up her sleeve and tries to reach for it.

-> Rafe/Woman/Alison
Alison is busy cleaning up the broken glass when Rafe walks in with this woman he is giving a ride to. Rafe says to Alison with his gorgeous smile, "I'd like you to meet someone," The woman looks at Ali, and Ali looks at woman.
"Alison?" the woman says.
"Mother?" Alison says stunned. Rafe turns and looks at the woman with a cold expression.

Jack/Tess
Jack is really starting to fall for Tess. It looks as though she feels the same way. He teaches her the word for 'Hug'. She enjoys being close to Jack. They lean in close to kiss when...

... ...
Livvie leans in to grab her ring, and she slips and falls completely into the poisoned bathtub! She gets right up and drags herself out. "Oh no! What have I done!?"

... Jack and Tess are just about to kiss, when she gets up and grunts. She can't breath. She is gasping for air as Jack is desperately trying to help. (-It's now obvious that there is a connection between Livvie and Tess- but what?--)

Next on PC:

-> Marissa on the phone, "Who?" Ricky looks at her. "Steven Clay?! OH MY GOD!" She says excitedly.

-> Livvie walks into the ER where Karen and Frank happened to be. "Somebody help me!" Livvie shouts. Frank grabs Livvie and puts her on a bed while Karen goes for help.

-> Alison to her mother: "Just tell me why you are here!" She says very sternly. "Your father is dead.", the woman says.
