Ian tells Lucy that Tess saved his life. Chris eavesdrops as Lucy and Ian discuss Tess' healing powers. Tess doesn't want to talk to Jack about how she saved Ian's life but does want Jack to teach her more words. Tess tells Jack she wants to know if Livvie is her sister. Jack asks Ian to conduct a DNA test on Tess and Livvie. While Jack is out, Chris lures Tess away.

Livvie visits Kevin, who still isn't himself. Kevin darkly tells Livvie she did him a favor when she injected him the drugs. Kevin wants to know about Lucy and Ian. Livvie tells Kevin that she's sure Lucy and Ian are having an affair. Kevin tells Livvie that Tess could be her "other" and suggests she embrace Tess as a way to learn more about her. Kevin listens to Stephen Clay's music. Ian and Lucy admit they are attracted to one another.
