[Open with Imani at the [bus] station – Jamal enters taps her shoulder and scares her – he tells her he looked for her at the airport and train station and everywhere else all night as he was worried about what she said about his putting her in danger. He tells her that [it was her fault] as if she had just been straight with him from the beginning ….

Imani interrupts [I like this gal] and tells him to ‘forget it.’ She’s sorry –but he has to let her go. He tells her that he is not letting her go until she answers a few of his questions.

But let’s go to where no questions are being asked, just apologies being made: Rafe and Alison’s place – HE is apologizing to HER. How do you like them apples? She is saying how worried she was when he disappeared like that – he’s sorry, and will never, ever do it again – now we get the [obligatory] flashback – this one of Caleb and Alison rolling in the Hay of their Sacred Place. She pulls back from his embrace and tells him that she has to tell him something …..

While, across town, Livvie swears on her sacred Love for Caleb, that Bull was just being a good friend to her – that is all that it was. He tells her he believes her – that it is a terrible thing to have doubts of the one You Love. And, P.S. He wants his ring back. NOW.

[credits]

Livvie gives him the ring – tells him ‘here it is, safe and sound’

Caleb tells her that he gave her every opportunity to tell him the truth – and she didn’t!

She says she was going to – she had set up the evening and the dinner – but he never came home –where was he all night?

Caleb tells her that she should know by now that he can take care of himself – she says she does, but that he has never been out all night …

He’s turns on her: “WHY DID YOUTAKE THE RING!? [Quieter: Wait – don’t tell me – was it because you wanted to make a wish?

Livvie [cowed] I wished for something for you– I wished that you would have the most passionate night of your life –but you weren’t with me

C: A waste then, of a perfectly good wish ….

L: I did it for you – Caleb, please tell me where you were …., please….

C; what you’d really like to know is, who was I with?

[Who he was with is shaking in her jogging suit [same one she put on after her night in the Sacred Barn] while Rafe asks her why is she shaking and what is wrong?]

He [not wanting to upset her anymore] says they don’t have to talk about it anymore – she says that they do.

She stands, moves away from – tells him that when he was gone [in Hell] her world turned upside-down and she was really out of her mind. He tells her that he knows how it must have been – how worried she must have been –what it must have been like for her while he was down there – [it must have been Hell – oh. No. That was HIS deal. She had it so much worse than HELL, he implies]

She pretty much agrees [think I] and is about to cry as he begins to tell her of his life-altering event where, while in Hell, he came to realize that there was nothing more important he had to do in life but to love her, keep her happy and so on. SO no more vampire hunting for him – no siree. He just wants her – wants her in his life and his ONLY mission in life is to make sure she is happy.

She asks him if that means that nothing Caleb could say or do that would provoke him in any way now?

He tells her that there is nothing that he can say or do that will concern him.

She says that’s good - ‘cause while he was gone – she went to Caleb - -to ask his help for Rafe

Rafe jumps up and interrupts her – tells her not to go on – he does not even want to hear Caleb’s name

She says she wants to explain [remember, she is NOT telling him in a million words] and he says: tell me he didn’t hurt you and we go to commercial……

Back at the Bus Station, Jamal explains to Imani that he is on her side no matter what – but she has to tell him the truth about her involvement with the Mystery of the Murdered English Teacher…

She explains that the murdered man was her friend as well as her teacher. But her stalker killed her teacher as part of his obsession with her. So, she is responsible as she ‘brought the stalker into the teacher’s life’ and that is what got him killed. And oh – BTW – her stalker is a cop who tampered with the evidence and made it look as if she were the killer. She tells him that he has got to let her go.

He agrees, but it seems his idea of ‘letting go’ includes his going with her to wherever she is going.

[Back where Alison is telling Rafe the truth by NOT telling him …..

And she tells him that while he was “gone” she was also living her own version of hell [less smoke, flames, devil voice and other tortures of the damned]

He apologizes again.

She tells him that she tried to feel close to him, but couldn’t.

He apologizes again.

She says that it was like being swept away in part of something that she never meant to be a part of.

He tells her that his Slaying days are over, and as far a he is concerned, Caleb Morley doesn’t even exist.

She asks is it possible that they can just sweep away the past and no matter what has been done – or has been done to them, they can put it behind them?

He says yes, and gee – wasn’t it terrific that she stayed faithful to their dream while he was away, he starts kissing her – but she pulls away – ‘no” she cries.

[Livvie meanwhile, is asking Caleb – who was she – who were you with?

Caleb asks: who is your worst nightmare? What better way to get back at you, Rafe and Alison?

Livvie cries out: “Please, Caleb! Please not that!”

He then tells her he lied – he sensed her wish and resisted. He says it seems as though no matter what she does, he always comes back to Livvie.

Livvie grovels and begs and pleads for forgiveness and sucks up to him – he tells her that she never has to make wishes for him – he always gets what he wants [he holds her by the neck and brings her forward to kiss her passionately as we go to commercial …..

… And come back to the bus station, Jamal and Imai. She tells him that he is the nicest man she ever met and that is whey he can’t come with her.

He reminds her of the saying that when you look back on your life, it’s not the things that you did that you regret, it’s the things that you didn’t do…. He IS go8ing with her.

She loses a few tears at this, but agree – Jamal gets up, goes to the counter to buy a ticket – realizes he needs to know what time they are leaving – turns to ask her – she is gone! [Is ANYONE besides Jamal surprised? I don’t even think the ticket guy was]

[Now we see the Mystery Man - and more of him at that – we can see up to his shoulder – and he is wearing a badge and has a ‘county sheriff’ patch on his uniformed shoulder as he [again] stares at Imani’s picture]

His phone rings – he answers: “That’s NOT the news I was hoping to hear – well keep checking the airports and the bus stations! Keep looking until you find her!” Call over – he crumples her picture in his fist.

[We now see Alison – still in the clothes she wore – and did not wear – and then wore- the night before, held in Rafe’s arms, lying on the sofa together. She tells him that she wants to be held by him and he says that he wants to hold her – he loves holding her. She says maybe later they can … [make love] he says that is OK and says she has a right o be angry with him… and that even the King of Hell said that Rafe was crazy to ever leave her [bleah]

Rafe continues and tells Alison that the King of Hell told him that his life on earth would now be worse than in Hell because Rafe had left Alison alone. He says if only He could see us now, eh?

She sits up and remarks that “sometimes we make some mistakes without even realizing it …..

He wonders what is wrong and reminds her that there is noting she can’t tell him ….

She tells him that the problem is this – here – she points to her engagement ring.

[OK< she lost me, and I know what’s going on]

Rafe [lost, too] guesses: your hand?

A; not my hand – do you see any wedding band there?

She then says her problem is she doesn’t know exactly WHEN she is going to become Mrs. Rafe Kovich. He says he can understand her problem. [I say, I can’t see much past thinking how badly I would like her to go take a shower before she has ANY more talk at all.]

Rafe tells her that he can fix her problem – she tells him she want to pledge their lives together so that nothing and no one can separate them – they kiss and we now see …..

Livvie and Caleb kiss- but Caleb is refastening his shirt so we know it more like ‘after’ if you follow my meaning – Livvie says she’s happy that things are back to normal and he has his ring.

Caleb says that he’s glad that their last time together was so happy, and see that door – use it.

She can’t believe it – but he tells her to believe it – get out – he can no longer trust her – GET OUT!

She tells him that NO – she is NOT LEAVING – He grabs her and shoves her out – one way or the other – she IS leaving! He slams the door shut with Livvie in the hall. She leans against the door, aghast and decimated and we fade to commercial ….. And the show is over]
