[Open with Imani and Jamal on a dock. Imani is going glub-glub, but maki8ng sound more like a kissing glub glub – and you have hear and see this]

[OK – turns out she’s teaching Jamal to do fish-calls. They are similar to bird calls, but for fish]

Jamal imitates her – and does worse than my description at imitating her – she laughs, and tells him it’s the funniest thing she’s ever seen. It IS pretty darn funny, too.

Jamal is affronted – and [still in doofy hat*] ‘all right’ he tells her and stops

[*I figure he had some other part [outside PC] where he did something to his hair, and is using the hat to cover it up – ‘cause I can’t figure another reason for him to wear it nonstop like he is otherwise]

I: No – I’m sorry – it was very cute!

J: that’s fine; whoa! [He has a bite on his line] it was cute; but I got something here!

I: me too!

J: mine’s big – like a shark or a salmon or something [reeling in furiously]

I: [reeling just as fast] There’s no salmon in fishing holes. This is big!

J: what ever! This one is putting up a fight!

[They finally reel in all the way; their lines are entangled]

J: [grin] looks like we caught each other.

[She gives him a really cute look]

[But we must leave them and go to the Daily Obligatory Dose of Rali – they are in the Gym, and Alison is now wearing boxing gloves [OK – they look like some large leather gloves you’d wear in an ice storm] and she is punching the punching bag as Rafe cheers her on]

He is telling her how much he loves her smile and she argues that he may not love it in 50 years when they are sitting in rockers [and the smiles are sitting in jars?] and will he still like it then, because it will be the same old smile and [my own teeth are rotting from the sugary sweetness of this] He tells her he will never get sick of her smile.

He tells her to keep boxing – and then tells her that every time he sees her face, he just falls more in love with her and she can get gray, wrinkly and old and he will still always want her. She replies that he better, or else [she hits the punching bag] She further explains – or else he might have to kick his butt [too late, he’s whipped already]

He laughs and wonders how after 45 minutes on the bag she is ready to kick his butt. She wonders: You don’t think I can? He laughs and says he’d like to see her try. She laughs and says ‘you’re going to be so sorry you said that.”

[I don’t’ know about him – but I already am]

[Caleb’s apartment – Caleb and Livvie are there, staring at each other while his voice over flash back plays in case we didn’t have it drilled into our heads enough yesterday]

With the promise of my kiss, you’ll never know a pain like this

Caleb wants to know what Olivia is thinking about – she says she is really curious about his music – she wants to know if all his lyrics are about things he is going to do. He tells her that he couldn’t play it if he doesn’t feel it. But, she wonders, what if it changed?

C: Why are you so curious about my writing all of a sudden?

L: With the promise of my kiss, you’ll never know a pain like this [I wish he was either a better songwriter, or this had a catchy tune, so listening to over and over would not be such a drag.]

C: where did you hear that?!

L: It doesn’t matter where I heard it; you wrote those words about me. I mean, that’s some pretty horrible stuff [she thinks he’s a bad songwriter, too] don’t you think? I mean, please tell me you were upset and you really didn’t mean that.

C: I meant every word.

[Credits]

[Rali’s Gym]

Alison and Rafe are mock fighting - She is punching at him – they are playing around and he grabs her. She throws some mean-looking punches at him, and then one really slow one where she kind of taps his chin. [gee. how. cute.]

She then proceeds, with his prompting, to throw some more punches, while they laugh and she goes on about how she is nailing him.

[ha ha] [And we did not see this coming] Rafe grabs her up and gives her a big hug and wonders what she is going to do right then. [Can we have a day without them? Please?] [but nooooooo,] She tells him [with flirty eyes] that there is something she’d like to do right now, but they are not alone in the gym.

Rafe actually sends a guy [their customer] out of the gym so they can have their private time. [Way to start a new business]

Alison laughs – what is he doing? She can’t believe he just did that! [Unfortunately, I figure it is all in line with him doing whatever it takes to make her happy, i.e., whatever she wants]

[Once they are all alone the hugging and kissing starts and we cut to

[Sigh. Also more Livvie and Caleb. ]]

L: You ask me to be your wife – after you’ve written a song about my destruction?! What are you trying to do? Are you trying to drive me crazy [um? It’s a “putt”, not a “drive”. Livvie] because if you are, you’re doing a pretty damn good job!

C; I wrote those words when I was angry.

L: About the ring!

C: About betrayal.

L: I apologized, I never meant to ….

C: You were only sorry when you got caught! But I knew about it all along and I gave you every opportunity to come clean – and still you lied to me – this is about betrayal – I forgave you, but I never said I’d forget it – I can’t Olivia –

L: then what am I doing here [repeating yourself endlessly?] Why are we even going to get married?!

C: I’d explain it – but I don’t think it will get through. [But he will explain it anyway.] I think I can show you instead…… [He turns her head to the wall where [he has a Kenner Give-a-Show Projector!] We see a Flashback of their Love; they recline [her on top of him] on top of a multitude of pillows]

C: I trust that you’ll remember this moment,

Flashback Caleb: You’re so beautiful. Finally mine, forever.

Flashback Livvie: yes

Flashback Caleb: Entwined in a whirlwind of lust

Flashback Livvie: More. Open your heart. Whisper

C: I was never happier than I was in that moment.

L: Are you trying to torture me – more than you have?

C: I’m trying t make you understand -

L: Understand what?

C: Just look! [Forces her to turn, look]

Flashback Caleb: Olivia, I love you

Flashback Livvie: Again

Flashback Caleb: I love you – I love you

Flashback Livvie: No more! [Stab!] [She thrusts the dagger into his heart][Line should read: “No Morley”]Now it’s done – Caleb’s gone – It’s for good this time. [Flashback Olivia closes Flashback Caleb’s eyes]

[Real Livvie is crying and we go see some ……………….

Commercials]

[The Elixir – today, due to an excess of Rali and Cavvie, [or is that Cabbie?] I am shocked that I am happy to see Jack [a/k/a Bull] and rIcky]

r: So this nut has actually been stalking Imani [they are discussing the sheriff/huntsman/badge guy – ‘badger’]

B: yeah if it’s the same guy – I need to know - What did you tell him about Jamal?

R: I told him that I hadn’t seen him around here for a while.

B: And that’s it?

R: yeah – what’s going on here there’s more to the story then you’re telling [yes, please tell it and fill up air time so we don’t have to go back to the Gym or Caleb’s home movies]

B: This guy – supposedly the sheriff in Imani’s hometown – pinned a murder on her and that is why she’s on the run.

R: And now this psycho murderer/stalker is going after Jamal.

B: yeah – you know what? I’ve got to warn him [gets cell phone from under bar] [dials cell phone] Dammit! He’s not answering!

[On the dock, where Jamal is either one ‘roaming charges’ or simply dropped the phone in the water [Can you blurb blurb hear me blurg now? ]

I: Didn’t I tell you that you would catch something with those fish calls? [Smiling]

J: yeah – you’re quite a catch all right!

I: Actually, you did quite good for a beginner.

J: Well, I’m glad I could be here for your amusement – so you could have fun with me [the new primer: Fun with Jamal and Imani]

I: I couldn’t resist poking fun at the city boy!

J: I may be a city boy, but I know an easier way to do it than this.

I: Anybody can go and get fish at a grocery store.

J: I’m not talking about a dang grocery store! I’m talking about a restaurant

I: Oh! I should have known!

J: All I’m saying is that we’ve been sitting out here since the crack of dawn and nothing’s happened. What’s the point?

I: You want to know what the point is. Close your eyes.

J: why? So you can have some more fun with the city boy? Is that why?

I: No - Trust me – no cheating – trust me. [She puts her hands over his eyes] OK – now you’ve heard the sounds of the night – [the children of the night, how beautiful their music See: Dracula] what else do you hear?

J: your voice.

I: Listen carefully

J: I hear the water; the wind rippling the water – the leaves - the birds – little bird chirping away chirp chirp

I: now, What do you smell? [Hey! She who smelt it dealt it.]

[Oh – not that]

J: I smell the fresh air –smells good – smell pine – flowers – smell lots of stuff – like I’m in Another World [wrong network] out here.

I: How does that world make you feel?

J: Calm, relaxed, makes me feel happy

I: And that, city boy is the point

J: You’re something else, you know that? I’ve never known anybody like you.

I: I’m sure you haven’t.

J: How did you get into this, this fishing thing?

I: My Dad used to take me all the time – to a spot just like this

J: I’m sure you really miss him, don’t you?

I: um hum – I do.

J: So, what happened to him, how did he die?

I: An accident.

J: What kind of accident?

I: Medea’s probably worried about us [stands] we should start getting back

J: [he stands] yeah – let me take the poles to the car

I: thank you [he leaves with poles]

[Now Imani has a flashback – she is running [in a wooded area] while we hear a man’s voice yell “Run Imani –don’t look back – just run! ]

[The Gym, where Rafe and Alison sit on the floor, braced against a couch/exercise thingy covered in a blanket]

A: I can’t believe you just threw the guy out like that [Neither can I] you know if this little stunt of your costs us business you’re going to be in big fat trouble.

R: It will be well worth it - The only thing that matters to me now is making you happy – if I could I would shut out the world and make love to you for the rest of our lives.

A: that sounds good – but The Real World [still wrong network] does call and we have to get this place open–

R: let me hold you a little while longer [argh]

A: OK twist my arm

R: What did you do today?

A: Before I came here? [Side stepping, but can’t resist telling what she knows] I did hear something interesting – we are not the only ones tying the knot – Caleb and Livvie have gotten back together – and they are getting married –

He wants to know how she found out – she tells him that she saw Caleb in the park. He questions: today? You were with Caleb?

[Caleb’s and Livvie’s apartment]

L: How could I have done that?! I always knew it was horrible – but to actually see the look on your face in that instant… No wonder you have all this anger inside you.

C: that moment changed everything - We might have lost each other forever

L: is that why you made me watch?

C: Not to hurt you but to show you that there’s consequences to your actions. Understand that [she says yes] I don’t’ hate you – but I do feel angry sometimes – that’s why I wrote that song – had to express myself – that’s all I have - I can’t hate you – even if I wanted to feel anger for you – no matter how much I try - I can’t stop loving you

L: I hurt you – I took your life

C: You gave me back life – in every way possible.

[Big hug] [But we see that Caleb is staring coldly as he embraces her]

[Commercials]

[The Elixir]

B: Jamal is still not answering – he left me a message –

[rIcky reads] Silver Hill Café, Alabama?!

R: Let’s go warn him!

B: whoa – I think I have another plan.

R: what is it?

B: All right – here’s how it goes [they lean in together and we …….

Go back to the Dock, where Imani is still deep in her flashback]

Man’s voice: Go Imani! Run and don’t stop! [in her flashback, Flashback Imani does stop and turn. She screams]

J: hey [he startles her and she whips around and touches him, scrapes him, with her hand/nails]

I: Jamal! I’m sorry! What did I do to you?! I’m sorry!

[Back at the Elixir]

B: You know what to do?

R: I got it man, no problem – [Bull starts to leave] Yo Bull - watch your back

[Bull leaves the bar – he walks away from it and we see that the ‘badger’ follows [from a position outside]

[The Gym]

[Rafe is disturbed]

R: Caleb came to you – what did he want?

A: He didn’t exactly come to me – I ran into him in the park – thought that you would think this is a good thing – Caleb and Livvie getting married

R: One – thing – he doesn’t do anything without some sort of agenda

A: Usually true – but they can drive each other crazy instead of everybody else in this town – they will be working on their wedding and we’ll be working on our wedding - Maybe he won’t be so crazy and Livvie so insecure

R: Still don’t trust him; all these accidental meetings…

S: happens that way, but all we did was talk and then went our separate ways – nothing to worry about – nothing at all – I promise. [Liar! Liar!]

[Over at the Dark’s one’s]

L: I’m so sorry I hurt you – sorry about everything

C: Ssssh. [kiss, kiss, kiss]

L: I’m so lucky to have you…

C: Ssssh. You have me you have me now, and you have me always. [kiss, kiss more intense kiss …. Big fangs [him] and he grabs he, lifts her … big fangs [hers] he pushes her up against the door and he bites ….

…………….. And the show is Over]
