The scene later on with Buck and Bobby was much better and established that "parental approval" vibe. This one kind of played into the infantilization of Buck that some viewers do. He's a grown@$$ man. He doesn't need anyone questioning the intentions of who he dates, especially since this was never done with any of the women he's dated in the past.

Tho I find it hysterical that Tommy is just like "I'm letting him set the pace and, damn, he's wearing me out". 🤣🤣🤣
