Steve Burton didn't want to be vaccinated so he left the show. It was impossible for actors not to be in close contact with each other I understand why the show required staff be vaccinated ... I'm definitely pro-vaccination. However, I respected Steve Burton's to do what was best for him and choose to leave the show rather than comply.

Ingo, on the other hand, SUED THE NETWORK!!!!! How did he think it was going to go? Why would any soap or TV/Movie producer someone who sued the network!

Let's be honest, Jason is a core character and his departure left a huge hole. It made sense to bring him back when they could. Jax was a supporting character who only had scenes with major characters. Even had he chose to leave without suing, he would not have been asked back. And had Covid not occurred, I don't think he would have remained on the show much longer. The show brought on a whole slew of new characters and there was no room for Ingo.

However, by suing ABC he pretty much guaranteed no one else will hire him. He can complain that Covid cost him his job -- but it is a job with no guarantee of long-term employment. But the network can't be happy about having to pay for lawyers to deal with him and once he made that choice he blackballed himself.

I was a major Jax fan when he first came on the show, but once the Sonny/Brenda/Jax triangle was over the show didn't seem to know what to do with him. Suing ABC was not a smart move and I'm sorry it is affecting his family but it was his choice.
