I was busy enjoying my last day of vacation. Anywho, it was a good episode. The more I see Alexa in the role, the more I think she was a fabulous choice as a recast. I had forgotten all about her calling Tracy step monster! I enjoyed their scenes immensely. And man, Tracy's wardrobe lately has been fabulous! Green jacket with gold leaves--perfection.
Go Nina! That's all I have to say. Look, I get Carly looking out for her son but who the hell does she think she is? It would be one thing if she said, how about we call Michael and get his blessing first? Nah. She came in ready to bulldoze over her opponents as usual. Nina was having none of it. I do not feel sorry for Michael. He's a grown man. He can survive without his kids for a night or two. Maybe this wasn't said because it was obvious but I still think it should have been put out there. Clearly, there is tension between Michael and Willow. Children are very perceptive and would pick up on it. Unless Michael was going to stay at the Hotel Quartermaine, then I see nothing wrong with Nina's suggestion that they head to her house. I was glad to hear Michael bring up his memory of how traumatizing it was when Sonny took him and Morgan from her. Those kinds of things stick with you.
Since when can an ex attend a private work meeting? That was beyond absurd. I must give kudos to Eden (Joss) as she has proven that sometimes, less is more. Histrionics on a soap are a staple, but her reaction was so much better. She wasn't wailing. She didn't drop to the floor--yet I still felt how profound the loss was for her. And unpopular opinion for sure, but I am sick of that FUGLY @ss bridge. Why the hell would Jason even take her there vs to her mother? Very strange.
Oh Anna. How the hell is this your fault? Just stop it!
