There has been zero evidence of this. Is it possible? Sure. Anything is in a genre with evil twins, back from the dead and long lost off-spring who just happen to end up in the same small town as their parent(s) LOL.
Looking at the evidence is why I don't believe that Michael has a net worth of a billion dollars.
If Michael were a billionaire:
1. How did it happen? Did he save his allowance all these years? There is no way his salary is that high and he hasn't been in the workforce that long.
2. Stocks/bonds/investments. Sure. But where is the opulence? He has already been shown to be arrogant and entitled so the extravagance should be present--just as it has always been with Victor Newman, Jeff Bezzos and that @sshole Elon Musk.
3. Q inheritance. When Alan, Lila, and Edward died--the will stated stock and $$$ was split equally amongst the grandchildren. No one got a huge payday .
4. Three years ago, when Cyrus showed up--GH was once again in finance trouble. Why didn't Michael swoop in and pay the millions that Cyrus did? The hospital has always been a top priority for the Qs. Michael's grandfather and grandmother worked there. So why would he sit idly by and watch it nearly close and allow Cyrus to bail it out?
5. When brainiac Carly lost her half of the hotel, let's just say it's worth $5,000,000. Why would she refuse to let Michael bail her out knowing that it would be like $5,000 to her billionaire son?
6. Why is he living in a 4 bedroom gatehouse--rent free? 🤣
7. Why is Michael engaging in all of these petty battles at Aurora and ELQ when he can simply start Quartermaine Industries or any venture that he wants?
8. Why isn't Ned or Tracy billionaires? Ned has his Q money, and Eddie Maine money and he has been working decades longer than Michael--with the same relatives and received the same piece of the pie via inheritance.
9. Nina's father left her hundreds of millions. She was in a coma for 20 years--that money had to have had crazy interests built up. Nina also had two salaries at one point. Why isn't she a billionaire?
I honestly feel like it was thrown out there as an exaggeration. I would not be surprised if we didn't ever hear it again. Those are the main reasons why I don't believe that Michael Bartholomew Corinthos is a billionaire.
I'd give it a .000001 chance. 🤷🏾♂️
