but it does sound like Brooklynn is hiding the fact she had a teen pregnancy, and her mom hid the fact that Gio was the child she gave birth to.
It's not that I would be adverse to the story for Brooklynn, but as I've stated earlier, every time I see Gio he reminds me of a puppy. It's not that is a bad thing in a person, it is just that it doesn't fit a soap opera. Maybe the actor will show more depth if the show gives him some solid drama. But at this point, while the storyline could be great for Brooklyn I'm not sure Gio is a strong enough character to hold up his end.
Hopefully I'm wrong and the show has kept Gio light and naive and the actor will rise to the occasion when given more dramatic content.
