It's due to his father's death and wanting to spend more time in AZ. He also stated that Frank told him he's leaving the door open for him to return. My question is--how exactly are they going to pull off Michael being off the canvas for months? You all know I don't care for Michael but he would never abandon his family. That leaves presumed dead or kidnapped/missing. I don't see Korte killing off another one of Carly's children. But who knows?
