General Hospital Update for Thursday, 12-Jul-2012

The fireworks are still popping after the 4th of July! What happened today?
Let's see: Sam almost found out the true paternity of her baby, but Todd did and he's not happy; there's a stolen drug scandal at GH (again!!) and you would not believe who's in the middle; the water that Heather's in is getting increasingly hotter--but Liv is standing by her man and his efforts to defend his mother and Molly and TJ's budding romance has been given the green light!! (awwww)
Starting off with Sam, she's busy at her desk at Manning Enterprises after Heather was led away in handcuffs, leaving her purse behind.
Maxie walks in and is stunned to see what Todd's done with the place while she and Kate were busy with their issues!!
After mourning Crimson with her buddy, Sam tells her that she had just noticed that Heather had left her purse on her desk and she was getting ready to go thru it when Maxie came in.
What Sam doesn't realize is that Heather had left the true paternity results of Sam's baby in her purse--which showed that Sam and JASON, not Franco, were the parents!
She is seconds away from discovering this bombshell when Todd bursts out of his office and grabbed the purse.
He had just gotten a call from Heather at the PCPD that a solution to their problems was in her purse. He dumped the contents on his desk, discovered the results and went ballistic!
Todd storms over to the PCPD, walks into the interrogation room where Heather is being held and confronts her with it.
Heather asks him what of it and tells Todd that she's going to tell everyone how he helped switched babies if he blabs! Funny how a little blackmail can spread all over, isn't it?
Speaking of Heather, Steve is having a heck of a time hiring an attorney for her. Alexis turned him down (amazing, because she defends everyone) and he's going thru the yellow pages when Liv comes over.
He asks Liv if she's happy about this and Liv tells him that if defending his mom is what he wants; she'll do it.
Almost forgot about the missing drugs at GH! Epiphany comes to Patrick to report the theft of drugs on her floor, adding that she suspects an orderly of stealing drug samples from a pharmaceutical rep.
Patrick tells the head nurse that he is sure that Ramon the orderly didn't do it and Ephiphany should not report this to HR as a result. (Yeah, because Patrick did it, right??)
Ramon thanks Patrick for having his back after Ephiphany leaves, and tells Patrick that he will have PATRICK'S back, since he saw him take the samples!
Finally, all is well at the Lake House again. Alexis went to Todd about the 4th of July incident at her house with TJ. The bottom line is that everyone agreed that TJ and Molly can see each other again--but one more screwup will nix it! Love is in the air!!
That was about it for today. Will love bloom between Molly and TJ? Will Patrick get the help he so obviously needs? Will Sam and Jason find out the truth about their son? Stay tuned!
