Twas a very sad emotional time in the realistic courtroom scene today as the judge gave his verdict. Maxie , Spinelli, LuLu, and Dante have all hurt each other so deeply.The judge tells LuLu and Dante that their strongest point was their financial and emotional costs involved with little Connie. He added that LuLu had committed a very serious offense.. that of perjury. Sooooooo he denied them custody. He added yet, you are not the biological parents . Lulu has a serious meltdown or break from reality at this point. Of course, Maxie and Damien are waiting anxiously to see if and when they can retrieve Connie. The judge asks them to sit while he speaks. His final verdict is:" Spinelli will have full custody of his little baby girl because he is the biological father." He was also in the dark as Maxie lied over and over again.The judge reprimands Maxie as he tells her that in the beginning she meant well when she wanted to serve as a surrogate. Yet, when she lost the child, she should have told the truth then. She gave LuLu false hope, and they became emotionally involved with their baby.He told Maxie that he was going to do what he thought was in the best interest for her child. Tis so sad because this fan adores the character of Maxie. Yet, she did as the judge said, commit fraud.Oh how. I am sure that she regrets her being deceitful to both parties. Her lack of judgment and her unethical decision to continue with the lies has hurt her chance of mothering her child.. She cannot see her little girl for 6 months sooooooo. In a sense,this fan can understand the verdict,but as Spinelli said : " At what costs?" After 6 months, the judge says that he can re- think the custody case.
In the meantime, a major shouting match is occurring between Carlos and Sabrina. He tells her directly that Robin is very much alive. He figured this out by having glanced at a family photo earlier. Sabrina tells him that he is insane The fight also includes Brad who tells them the lie.. that Ellie was working in the lab.Carlos simply can't convince the "doubting Sabrina" of this truth.There is a rather funny exchange between the belligerant Carlos and Brad.There had to be some comic relief.;-) Carlos finally tells Sabrina : " Get ready for your wedding,but it will be all for nothing." Sabrina has a lot to deal with.
Brad asks Felix to have dinner with him. Later, Brad accepts Felix's invitation to go to the wedding with him. Brad is worried about Patrick's dislike for him. Felix assures him that Patrick is okay with their being together.( Patrick and Felix had a long talk about his relationship with Brad.)
A pathetic Lu runs to get Connie from Tracy and Olivia. She is planning to run away with her just as Dante appears to stop her.Tracy has been watching her carefully as Lu blurts out that she and Dante had won custody. This custody battle, to me, was the long awaited highlight of today's show. Hopefully, LuLu and Maxie will work through their own losses. Both have lost so much.
luke has found Robin alive and he tries to persuade Nik and them to go to Cassidine Island to rescue Robert and Anna.Those who missed today's GH missed one of the writers best shows of this year. It was riveting and heartfelt!
