General Hospital Update for Friday, 13-Dec-2013

Christmas comes to Port Charles, and the new year is going to bring lots of change!
What happened today? Spencer and Nicholas are decorating the tree at Windemere, but will Grandma Leslie stand in the way of his relationship with Britt? Ellie found out her new job in Portland actually starts the next day, leaving her and Spinelli to make a decision; Lulu and Dante decide to move forward and try again, and those wacky teens!! Those crazy kids, Rafe, Taylor, TJ and Molly, are clearly still in the middle of a love triangle!!
Starting off at Windemere, we see Spencer, with Britt and Nicholas' help, decorating the tree with candy canes.
Britt is trying to do a better job than she did with Emma of trying to win over her boyfriend's son (maybe she realizes now that making the kid run away won't do anything to win his father over?) and actually gives Spencer a candy-cane flavored Hershey's bar to eat.
Leslie comes in and after Britt goes off with Spencer, proceeds to tell Nicholas how angry she is with him for lying about Faison when they were there over Halloween. And from what was implied, I don't think she's such a fan of the Britch, either! Nicholas got her back, by regifting to her Heather's egg salad painting!!
Anyway, Leslie winds up taking Spencer to see his Uncle Sonny, who gave him boxing gloves for Christmas and took him in the ring at his gym!
On to Ellie, who tells Spinelli that there's been a teensy-weensy change in plans, and that her new lab in Portland wants her to start the next day! This means that they now need to leave Port Charles this night.
Spinelli is understandably blown away, but decides to take a leap of faith and get Connie ready to leave.
He goes back to Sam's place to pack and has an emotional goodbye with her, He winds up at Maxie's place and tells her that he wants her to see Connie one more time. We will have to wait to see what her reaction is, but I have to say that my heart aches for Maxie.
Spinelli was at Sam's just as Rafe and Taylor were bringing in Silas's tree. The fur started flying as soon as they saw Molly and TJ. Let the games begin!
It was very clear that Rafe and Taylor were acting all kissy-face just to get a rise out of TJ and Molly and it was working. Oh, those nutty teens, will they ever learn?? At least they could have drug out the mistletoe!
Finally, Dante and Lulu. Dante took Sonny's advice and talked Lulu into a new start and trying again for another baby.
They went to the GH lab, where they got the news about Connie moving to Portland with Spinelli from Ellie. They took that news rather well and then asked for their two remaining embryos, which Ellie was happy to provide.
Only one problem: they were nowhere to be found! And in a side note, Britt is getting ready to spill to Nicholas about Ben's true paternity! Makes you wonder why she and Brad are so chummy, right? Read between the lines....
What REALLY happened to Dante and Lulu's embryos? Will Ellie, Spinelli and Connie be happy in Portland? Stay tuned!
