General Hospital Update for Friday, 14-Feb-2014

Happy Valentine's Day! And did our friends in Port Charles ever celebrate! And what would Valentine's Day be without a bombshell, right? After all, it IS Bombshell Friday!
What happened today? Spencer showed that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; giving Dante and Lulu expensive gifts. They accept them--but PC's favorite hard-luck couple in the kids department doesn't know that Liz is going to give them something better; Molly and TJ almost get jiggy, but wake up and smell the coffee; Duke tries to patch it up with Anna, but she has definite things to say about that and of course, what would Valentine's Day be without a good old-fashioned cat fight, courtesy of Britt and Liz!
Almost forgot to mention that Morgan and Ava celebrated their V-Day between the sheets and Sonny and Liv did dinner at the Metrocourt!
Starting off, we see all of our favorite couples hanging out. Molly is freaking out over the SAT's, when TJ decides he wants to steam things up a little more.
He starts off with candy hearts (loved "Tweet Me" on one of the hearts), and BAM, he went from first base to almost third--at least to second!
They were on the floor of Alexis' living room and TJ had actually taken off his shirt when Molly came to her senses, putting the brakes on things. It had a sweet ending, with the teens deciding that they definately wanted to, but wanted to put planning into it and wanted it to be special. Phew!!
Anyway, Anna was getting a dozen roses sent to her home, when she noticed they were being held by none other than DUKE!
She tries to keep him out, but Duke, to his credit, came in anyway. AND....they had a chat. Anna told him that her main objection is that Duke is working for Sonny, which would be hard for her to explain to the good citizens of Port Charles: that their Police Commissioner's boyfriend is in the mob!!!
Duke told her again that it's only temporary, until Julian is taken down for good. We'll see how long this excuse hold up, lol.
It's clear that these two still have feelings for each other, so I hope they are able to work things out!
On to Spencer, who is visiting Dante and Lulu with Nicholas. He's come bearing expensive Valentine's Day gifts: for Lulu, a bracelet and for Dante, Yankees' tickets! Didn't think guys gave each other Valentine's gifts???
Spencer also blabbed to Lulu that Nicholas was planning on giving Britt a ring! Lulu's eyes got wide, but she did tell Nick that he had her blessing--although she is not Britt's biggest fan by any means!
Britt had a visitor of her own while this was going on: Liz!! (Remember that cat fight??) Anyway, Liz had the test results in her hand, proving that Dante is Ben's father and made the trip to Windemere for a little gloating at Britt's expense.
She made a point of returning Ben's baby brush, telling Britt that she took a piece of Ben's hair from it and was able to lift prints oof one of Dante's water bottles. Bingo!! A DNA match!!
Of course the ladies got into said cat fight (hair pulling to boot) and Liz left afterwards to give Dante the good news.
We see Britt holding Ben and tossing the lab results in the fire. (Britt: don't you think Liz made COPIES???)
Liz winds up at Dante and Lulu's place, where she prepares to give them the big news.
Almost forgot to give the latest on Morgan and Ava. She meets Morgan at Sonny's office, now conveniently located at the Metrocourt, and gives him a flashdrive with info downloaded from Julian's computer as a show of loyalty.
After this happens, Sonny tells Ava he needs to check it out, so the lovebirds (Morgan and Ava) go to her room in the Metrocourt to celebrate Valentine's Day between the sheets!!!
How will Dante and Lulu react to the news that Ben is their child? Will Ava REALLY switch sides? Will Anna and Duke patch things up? Stay tuned!
