General Hospital Update for Thursday, 3-Jul-2014

It's the 4th of July in Port Charles! And the fireworks aren't only in the skies!
What happened today? Things have gone from bad to worse for Rafe--and sadly,he could be taking Molly down with him; fireworks are definitely a sizzlin' between Maxie and Nathan (look out, Levi) and she's baaack!! The Britch is prepared to stake her claim with Nicholas!! (Sorry, Liz!!)
Almost forgot to mention that Patrick gave Emma some bad news at fireworks, but I think this brought them closer!
Starting off with Rafe, we see him in Silas' parking garage, getting ready to take Nina's money and flee in Silas' car--but he sees Molly at the last minute.
Molly tries to tell him to stop--to let Dante and the other adults help him, but Rafe tells her it's too late.
Not taking no for an answer, Molly jumps in the car--in front of a stunned Sam and Dante.
As they speed on to the highway, Rafe tells Molly the whole story about causing the accident that killed Gabriel--but says that it wasn't an accident!! (Huh??)
Molly realizes too late that her friend is not in his right mind and yells for him to slow down: before they crash into a tree!!
On to the park, where the sparks are definitely flying between Maxie and Detective Sexypants, aka Nathan.
As we recall, they accidentally handcuffed themselves to each other, after Nathan busted up Maxie and Levi's protest at the Brownstone.
They're walking home to their apartment, when the fireworks start in the sky. One thing leads to another and Nathan is soon telling Maxie that she has beautiful eyes!! (Maxie: Dump Levi, PLEASE??)
While we're in the park, we see Nicholas and Britt (Yes, Britt) watching the fireworks.
Britt got Spencer to help her while he was at GH with Nicholas--and suddenly Liz finds out she had to work another shift as she was getting off?? Huh?? Can you say overtime?? Can you say union grievance??
Spencer decides to track down Emma, the love of his life, who's also watching fireworks with Patrick.
She's gotten some bad news. Emma asked Patrick if he was going to divorce Robin and he told her sadly, they probably were.
Patrick gently explained to his daughter Robin did not come home when they needed her during the accident and when Garbriel died,so he's not sure of their marriage anymore.
One thing Patrick told Emma that he is sure of is his love for her--and he proved it by giving her a big hug.
Will Rafe and Molly survive? Will romance bloom between Maxie and Nathan? PLEASE?? Stay tuned!
