General Hospital Update for Friday, 3-Oct-2014

Happy October! How did Fall get ushered into Port Charles? Let's see...
Sam and Patrick are on the plane to Amsterdam to get answers from Luke--but Dante is not with them. Carly passed a test, or did she? Speaking of that, Nina talked Franco into giving the Carly spy-cam a rest, or did SHE? Maxie and Nathan tried to convince each other (and Dante and Lulu) why their dinner date wouldn't and shouldn't go forward, but will it?
Almost forgot to mention that Liz and Monica bonded at Jason's aka John Doe's bedside--and Jason woke up!
Starting off on the Amsterdam flight, we see Sam strapped into her seat,lost in thought. Patrick joins her and they are talking about the John Doe case at GH.
Sam tells Patrick how Danny wouldn't let go of John Doe's hand and Patrick shares the fact that he saw scar tissue from previous brain surgeries on his x-rays. Wonder when they'll put the pieces together?
Meanwhile, at GH, Liz is holding vigil at Jason's bedside. Thinking that she's with John Doe, Liz is joined by Monica, who's been asked to check out his heart.
Monica does her exam and has a heart-to-heart with Liz. She tells Liz that she doesn't blame her for leaving AJ, saying that she would have done the same thing.
What they don't know is, that buried in bandages, Jason has woken up!
Was Carly good at tests in school? If today is any indication, the jury is still out!
As we know, the necklace Franco gave her had a camera that he could watch on his cellphone. He's watching Carly and Sonny at GH, when Nina comes in.
They hear Carly call Sonny a son-of-a-bitch (among other things), so Nina convinces Franco to give her his phone and come to lunch with her.
They have a great lunch, only to hear Carly say on the phone that she feels bad because again, she's just had sex with Sonny!!! Whoops....Guess Franco won't be deleting this app anytime soon!
Finally, Nathan and Maxie. Maxie is at Lulu's and Nathan is at the PCPD when he runs into Dante, who didn't go to Amsterdam on the fluke case.
Each one tells their friend why this date at the Metrocourt is a bad idea, but we are left hearing that Nathan will go to his reserved table to wait for Maxie.
Nathan is there and is getting ready to leave, and the elevator opens and there's Maxie, gorgeous in a beautiful dress! Yay!!
Will Maxie and Nathan get together? Will Jason remember his loved ones? Stay tuned!
